My brothers and I stopped here on the way to Newport Beach for a deep sea fishing trip, and considering it was the only thing open at that time, they weren't the worst donuts I've ever had. They certainly weren't the best either, though. Additionally, they serve donuts beginning when they open but don't serve the sandwiches and burritos they offer until several hours later. Not a terrible experience overall, but truthfully probably won't be back.

Splendid!!! I had heard raving about Sidecar Donuts here in Costa Mesa for a long time. I finally tried their don't and was not impressed in the slightest. $8.75 for 2 donuts and I was very disappointed wirh them. Oh Those Donuts rose above Sidecar with fresh traditional donuts and I was very satisfied with them. $3.80 for 2 donuts.

Been going here 35 years. Seems to be like it was for many years again. Appeared other owners had been working the store for a while. Swore I would not return. Did tonight. Now it seems like old times the young lady at the counter tonight was the best. No longer see the others around. Good Thing. Love there sandwiches.

Loved this place as a kid in the 90s they always took care of me when I was homeless and hooked up the fries and ranch dressing for a dollar. Place is 24 hrs and they always let folks hang out there late. Great spot.

This has been my favorite donut shop the entire time I've lived in Costa Mesa. Always fresh and always good. Only complaint is that I can never get a jelly donut before 9:00 AM. ?

Best sandwich's! You can pick your own sandwich build! Bread is fresh and delicious! This place is amazing!!! If you haven't tried it, you need to! It reminds me of when I lived in Northern California San Jose area some of the best restaurants I've ever been to are up there!

Today I came in to grab a sandwich and while I was waiting , a gas station worker from across the street came in and took a seat in the back of the store. Then the owner (who was dressed casually and could not be identified as a worker/owner) stood up and asked the woman if she was going to order anything and If she wasn't then she was only taking advantage of the store. The woman told her she is regular and comes in all the time but the owner proceeded to tell her to leave if she wasn't going to order. I had to step in and tell her to stop harassing the woman and that she was a worker from across the street taking her lunch. The worst part of it is the woman sitting down clearly had a box of donuts she had bought earlier that day. The way she spoke to the woman was unprofessional and should have never happened . Will not be returning here .

We sent our friend to get donuts this morning and he came back saying the guys said there is no donuts and said they were out even though he said he saw donuts in the back on the trays. I didn't believe it so I called and the guy that answered didn't even greet politely instead he said "Helloooooo" and I politely asked do you guys have donuts and he's like "no we don't have any donuts"!I was confused since it's say 24hrs. Super upset about the service. We went 07/04/22 around 8:30am and I know it's Fourth of July but come on he needs to loosen up! I had to work on Fourth of July too and I wasn't being rude! All we wanted was donuts for our friends birthday!

And offered to pay. This year we were told that a larger order came in and so they couldn't make ours. They didn't call. Didn't tell us. Honestly I am just so so so upset. I have a large party every fourth and for them to do this to us the morning of the party is ridiculous. I highly encourage you to consider another place to order donuts from for an event.

More like oh those hours I waisted sitting in the drive through for my tater tots. I have had relationships shorter than what it took for them to get me my tots. I left before getting my food, just like my dad left when I was 7. This place is sucky .

The sandwiches are great. But the customer service is terrible. I have been there many times. Not once did I get decent customer service. The ladies want to do minimum possible work. "Give me your money and here is the sandwich. Now, go away." My friend asked for a 2 min toss on her tuna sandwich, she was told that they cannot do that. Ridiculous.

Stopped by around 8:30am on a Monday while on vacation. Drive thru experience was nice with no wait but donuts were dry as if they had been sitting around for hours. Ordered a variety of donuts and none tasted fresh or had great flavor. Coffee was burnt tasting and gave me indigestion. Had higher expectations of a local specialty donut shop. Maybe donuts are fresher at other times or days? I wish I had just picked up donuts at Ralphs.

Been coming here since u was a kid love the drive thru option as qell as the sandwich order form only down side is sometimes my sandwich is not right and sometimes they don't warm the bread which is really the main reason I am obsessed with this place but I still give 5 stars because I've been returning for over 30 years
