Very disappointed. Arrived at the restaurant 45 minutes before closing. We were aware of the time and tried to be respectful of the closing time. The waitress acted very put out. Expecially when we asked ingredients, due to dietary restrictions. She hurried us thru our meal. She asked if we wanted our ice cream to go. Our meal was just okay at its best. The beef was dry and chewy. Very small salad. The soup was not as described.

Pita bread which is supposed to be served fresh was dry and cold. Flea flying on table and over the food was so annoying. Obviously people are nice but it's all about how they work. Lamb / chicken was good but we found flea over salad. Beet salad was good. Pita bread was cold and dry and they agreed they get Pita bread from outside and just warm it here. Which makes it chewy.

The food was delicious and well presented. Service: flawless. Good prices, especially for Newport Beach. The indoor seating looked nice, but we sat outside, which was comfortable but a little loud from the busy but not quite visible road 30 yards away. Plenty of parking.

We brought in a huge group of 25 people to eat here a few days ago, and the food was pretty good, the service was good. I recommend this spot for a good group experience with simple food options that are hearty and fresh!

Great food at a great price. Love the garlic potatoes appetizer. Then enjoyed the lamb shank with mashed potatoes. Had the baklava to go. I felt the restaurant had a Midwest supper club feel. Wait staff were knowledgeable and took excellent care of us. Will go back next time I’m in the area.
