She had never had rolled ice cream before and decided on the Cookies and Cream premade combo. I got the Rocky Road premade combo. Both were good, but I wouldn't say that they were $7 good. I see that making them is labor intensive, but they're a good $2 more expensive than Coldstone, for less ice cream. It's just gimmicky. And for that price tag one would assume that it would look really photo pretty. Nope! The young lady who made mine couldn't seem to smash that last roll in so she hid it with whipped cream. I suppose it was still Instagram'able lol.

This is a great place to visit after a nice dinner. They are very helpful in explaining the ice cram options. You can get it swirled or in a roll. I choose the swirl and wasn't disappointed at all. Excellent flavor and added goodies are of high quality. I would recommend this place for anyone who loves ice cream and enjoys the sweet side of life.

SERVICE: 3/5 Meh. Every time I come here the service lacks, it pretty much sucks to be honest. It's truly not the best and does affect my experiences coming here. They aren't super friendly or anything. I get a dead vibe from the workers. FOOD: 3/5 They don't really have any unique flavors, but one thing that does make them stand out is their mochi taco. Their mochi taco is great and it's only $5! Super delicious. Their flavors are good too, but it doesn't stand out much to me.

Ice cream was all right, but we took my grandma here and there was nowhere for her to sit. Those high chairs are a young man’s game. Maybe throw in a couple of regular height chairs so everyone can enjoy.

Great Ice Cream. We stopped here after having our lunch. I'm glad that I heard about this place prior to going so we could save room after lunch for scrumptious treat!

Yummy ice cream and very nic3 and efficient customer service they even met me outside with my order since they saw i had my hands full with my kiddos, the only reason that i rated them low is because of their confusing menu options and because honestly i feel its completely over priced at the end its just ice cream with a bit of details. The add ons like gummys and sugar extras seemed scarcely even there. Which of i already thought that every other place similar where already overpriced as can be.

Delicious, great flavor selection, the owner and staff is extremely nice, adorable shop in a great location. It's hard to pick a flavor everything I've tried is so good. I love Horchata, Green Tea, and Taro while my husband loves Cookie Monster. Good toppings available as well.
A first time visitor here since I'm learning my new work environment. I needed something sweet for the afternoon three o'clock sugar crash. The cereal killa was amazing and just the right amount of crunch. Captain crunch cereal is crushed into the ice cream and then churned out into the swirl. So fascinating to watch! I can't wait to work my way down the menu.

Second time coming here this month after only just discovering this place! I lve gotten the mochi taco with cookies and cream oreo toppings and GOLD FLAKES!! (The gold flakes are just for show i believe but boy is it GOOD). My husband got the rocky road this time. He likes it :) rolled ice cream is just a different flavor to regular ice cream... its a MUST TRY! The only not so good thing about this place is the horrible parking. And its a tad but expensive.

Thai Tea Ice Cream with Teddy Grahams and Grass Jelly: yes please! I've tried other rolled ice cream joints and this is one of my favorites. I really appreciate that the ice cream itself is not super sweet. The combination I thought was a bit odd but they all worked really well together. For those that are not familiar with rolled ice cream, they pour a liquified ice cream onto a frozen plate of metal, then use a spatula to spread it all out until it solidifies to the point of being able to be rolled into pretty cylinders of ice cream. Once done, they hand the container of rolled ice cream to another person that decorates the creation with toppings of your choice. Yum! Rollin Deep is situated in a small shopping center so parking can be a struggle. Fortunately that was not the case for us so it all worked out. Definitely a sweet little spot we will stop off at again when we are back in Costa Mesa!

Pro tips: Get the mint chocolate with Nutella. Be satisfied. Come during the day when there's a short line. Happy hour is great if you're with a group (buy one get one half off) Ask for extra whipped cream.
