The service was exceptional and very quick. From the moment we sat down, our server Miguel was attentive and gave great suggestions. Our food came out quick and was quite delicious. Overall, a great experience and will come back again soon.

Came in at 12:30. Was denied seat at bar as the bartender was solo and overwhelmed. Decided to wait for a table. Was quoted 30 minutes. Was seated at 1:20 only to observe the seat I was unable to sit at the bar was seated and they were already served. Host fail.

Went on Valentine's day. I was able to make reservations 3 days before when I realized we had tickets for an event SCFTA on Valentine's Day, It's a nice cafe inside Nordstroms at South Coast Plaza. The menu is not large but varied, you should be able to find to your liking. They have a full bar and the cocktails were good. Service was fine. We had a starter, I was disappointed when they brought my salad with our entrées.

We had a lovely table on the patio. There were heat lamps, so it was very comfortable. We had appetizers, soup, and salad, and an entrée. Our server was extremely attentive. It was an enjoyable evening and we will return again.

We enjoyed being at a sit down instead of the cafeteria set up they used to have. One got the French dip- very good and one the spicy shrimp pasta- also very good

I LOVE this restaurant and I feel guilty because I work at MACY'S!!! My co-worker and I STALK Ruscello to see when they're serving their amazing chicken pot pie soup. We are so there and don't care if we get fired for dining with the competition if this heavenly soup is on that day's menu. BEST SOUP EVER!

From the hostess at the front to our waiter, Jamie, we were treated like queens and very much appreciated the outstanding service at Ruscello. We were there for a birthday lunch on Saturday, December 6th, and while it was crowded, it was still lovely and a grand celebration.

The tomato basil soup was delicious as always. The garlic truffle fries were outstanding with the garlic dipping sauce. The chicken parmesan sandwich was a little disappointing. Just a little bland. But the service was great and it's a great place to have lunch.
My only complaint was that Open Table or Ruscello changed my comment to have a booth into "outside" preference. Since it was pouring rain, I'm glad the hostess questioned this.

We have eaten here several times and I am always satisfied with the food, especially the French Dip. What I really like is the friendliness and service of the employees. It seems like lately, servers are aloof and unavailable. Here I have always found them to be nearby and polite. Good job!

Had a business meeting w 3 other associates and the food was fabulous! Service was super friendly and fast! The mushroom ravioli w tomatoes and basil was the tastiest pasta ever!!! Will def come back!!!
