Pretty decent light beers. We tried two different beers and they were pleasant but just above average. The cool part is their outdoor seating area which has a stage. But the seats are bench styles and the spots are tight.
I had Val as a bartender, never had a better server. Super attentive and had a drink for me before I needed the next. Great atmosphere and most of all service. Thank you!
Salty Bear in Costa Mesa is a really chill spot with a relaxed vibe and friendly staff. The atmosphere is great for hanging out with friends, and the prices are fair for both drinks and food. I love the overall energy of the place, it feels casual and welcoming. The only downside is that the tables and booths are pretty uncomfortable and not very sturdy, which makes it hard to fully relax and enjoy a long visit. Still, it’s a great spot overall, and I’ll definitely be back for the good vibes and solid value.
Really solid brewery option. Big fan of an option space with high top and regular table options, which they have (in addition obviously to seats at the bar). The bartender was attentive and nice. The beers had a good variety, especially of IPAs, and each of the IPAs we had were pretty tasty. Love that it has such easy parking.
The table we grabbed was also big enough for us to commandeer a board game, which is always appreciated.
This will most likely become part of our rotation for board game/brewery collection.
Great little brewery with a nice big patio in the back. Very dog friendly, lots of families.
Beware of parking!! If you’re parking in the lot, the gate closes right at 12am. I was late to exit and got locked in and had to call and wait for security to open the gate.
Amazing brew pub and a small beer garden in the anti mall. They have alive dj and a taco truck as well. Very chill.
Beers were fine at best. The staff seemed to not want to be there and there was a man who seemed to be the owner/manager who was visibly intoxicated behind the bar. The pizza vendor they had was good though. Had one half beer and ran.
The dog was great.
Great food and service!!

Love this place! There is such a good vibe here. The staff is awesome and the beer is amazing. They have live music on the weekends. This is my wife and mines favorite local brewery.
Other then fact that my friends car was stolen in the the parking lot, cool spot to have a couple beers and listen to music.
First and last time I go to this place. I ask what hazy they recommend and he replies with "the ones on the menu" with a smartass tone. I even told him it was our first time. Terrible customer service.
Very cool vibes but I did not have one beer I liked (and we tried out 5 different types). The female bartender was miserable and very standoffish, with absolutely no reason to be. If they had better customer service I would consider coming back but it’s a no for me.
Good atmosphere +⭐️, good beer+2⭐️, subpar service -1⭐️
