When I got there at 6:20AM the drink wasn’t ready. Instead a worker was talking to a homeless lady about her day. I asked him and he got another girl that was in the back to make it. He whispered to her something about 2 and went back to talking to the homeless lady. my drink which was a quad wasn’t as strong. I was outside waiting and they brought it to me. I was grateful but now I think he just did that so I would be out of the way and wouldn't be able to remake it anymore.

This Starbucks team truly does not get enough credit for how great they are. I have been visiting this Starbucks nearly every day for the last 4 years since moving to Costa Mesa and there is a reason I chose to stop here versus another location with a drive thru (we all know we love ease). This location has dealt with the opening of northgate, a massive influx of new customers, on top of it being the go to spot for students before and after school, along with the typical customer base - with grace and ease. Their team is kind and makes an effort to brighten other peoples days, which is much more than can be said for other fast casual environments. I have frequented more Starbucks locations than I’d like to admit, and I will always come back to this one even if it means going out of my way to do so.

Starbucks quality is really dropping off. It's heavily corporate now. you can't even ask for water they sell overcharged tap water lacking any vitamins or minerals bottles. All the food is just chock-full of sugar and all their drinks are just heavily sugar heavily cancer syrups it's not even real coffee anymore you're basically just buying the brand to walk around with the emblem on the outside of your hand to look like you belong to an upper class. The atmosphere is stale. It's become a drug addiction hotspot for high school kids

Went in today at 1:45 pm ordered a Carmel Machhiato and a white chocolate mocha. Got a oatmilk latte instead of thr Carmel Machhiato
I don’t think you should make mobile orders priority over people standing in the lobby. I think that’s very disrespectful to the people that drove there to get a coffee in person then you just smack them in the face and make them stand there and wait while you take mobile orders and get those ready that just sit on the counter. That’s a very crappy work practice. And it just shows entitlement to people who order over online. This is not fair to the people that stating there already paid in person stating right in your face and you have the audacity to ignore them not cool.
