If you like cockroaches in your baked products... This is the bakery for you LOL
Absolutely horrendous service. We called for a Challah 2 weeks in advance for the date we needed it by. We called several times to make sure it was gonna be ready when we requested it. Despite all of our calls and reminders they made a excuse the day we requested for the challah to be ready saying they ran out of flour! This is absurd. Flour is one of the main things you need in bread. This is like saying pizza hut ran out of dough! Absolutely ridiculou

i found the Challah bread in the store and kept buying it every week. after a few months i stopped seeing it in the store so i looked up the bakery just to find they are a mile away from my house. when i saw all the other baked goods they had i was very happy. i tried a few things but i cant find anywhere a list of baked goods they make. every time i see more and more things that i cant recognize but the smell is just amazing. if they watch this i would love to know how to get a list of what you make.

The best bread ?
I’m always looking for breads containing whole wheat flour and oat bran. I love bread that is slightly sweet without containing high fructose corn syrup, trans-fats, or cholesterol. I tried the Sunflour Bakery Dark Sweet Wheat bread and found that it was better than I thought it would be. In fact, my husband, who is dedicated to CA sourdough, tried it. You may not know that we are basically incompatible, and yet, he loved it too. Finally we had a shared interest! Thank you SunFlour. This is the kind of bread that not only will save your marriage but that you want to tell all of your friends and family about! Need I say more?Oh, ya. So far, I’ve only found it at Whole Foods at Bella Terra. But I may be wrong about that.
Wonderful local and health bakery.
I love the soft dinner rolls at Sunflower bakery. Don't be confused, it's a real bakery just not like a store. Their dark sweet bread is great for breakfast too, grill it, it's yummy.
Sunflour Bakery is my favorite bakery in the OC. They have a great staff and a wide variety of freshly made breads, pastry's, cookies, and cakes. Their challah is dynamite! Do yourself a favor and check this place out, you will not be disappointed.
I have been buying Sunflour Bakery Challah (braided sweet bread) at Whole Foods in San Diego for several years now. Bar none. The balance of delicate sweetness, aroma and heavenly TEXTURE, perfectly browned — I always crave it. This delicious bread is perfect on its own and with ANYTHING. It is such a treat. No wonder, it often sells out at my store. Thank you, Sunflour Bakery for the outstanding product. I will plan to stop by your store when in Costa Mesa to sample more of your products.<3

This is an amazing Orange County bakery. My absolute favorite for bread made fresh daily. Kosher parve and some Vegan choices. It's not retail but they will sell to consumers. Fantastic staff. My family's favorites are challah, Maple scones, sourdough, +++. You can't go wrong. Out of this world.
Nice place, clean and not too crowded. Sunflower has pretty good prices and high quality, and the staff is always friendly.
I'm nuts over the Chocolate Chip Sweet Bread. Found it at Mother's Market. Finally something really tasty without milk.
Good place to go
