I noticed immediately about 80% of capacity at 10:45am (good sign). Lots of regulars. The home made chips and salsa (red) ♥️. I had 3 chicken enchiladas rice and beans $15. The beans are amazing w/melted cheese on top. Service is great. This is a traditional Mexican restaurant family operated. People are drinking beer. Lively music on Monday morning. Lot's of cute kids at tables. Kid friendly ??. I would like more red sauce on the enchiladas. I know these independently owned restaurants are having challenging times w/inflation. I wish I got the opportunity to review the food. I came in at 12:45pm on a Monday with my wife and son. We were greeted and told to we would be helped in a few minutes 4-5 times before we finally walked out. There needs to be some serious improvement on time management and priority of tasks here.

My husband and son used to go here a lot in the past, so I decided to get a to-go order, per my husband's suggestion. The place was fairly empty right before 5 pm so the wait was not long.The real surprise was when I got home with the food. Containers of sauce were spilled out everywhere which resulted in a big clean up job before I could even get to the food, which was terrible. My husband and son felt that the food had gone way down in quality. My container was 3 compartment and they decided to use one of the smaller spaces for a container of guac instead of my rice. Therefore, they dumped literally a few teaspoons of rice over my beans and called that a combo. Never had that experience before. Totally unacceptable.Now we can be done with this place too!
I went here because I like to support family-owned restaurants.The quality of food was not good for me. It was not busy.The taco shells were rock hard.The rice and beans were cold and I had to send them back. They replaced them, no problem.I saw someone behind the counter eat with his fingers.I told my waiter. I should have left then.I know good Mexican food and it's one of my favorites! I didn't get that today, unfortunately.
