Rad little shop. Lots of coffee and SoCal history here. It may be nestled up next to a bunch of other roasters in South Costa Mesa but take one whiff of that 1lb(!) bag and tell me it isn’t the best stuff around.

This is my not-so-secret secret coffee place. I like their quiet and secluded storefront nestled in Costa Mesa. I happily make 30 min drive to restock my whole beans A cup of latte is a nice bonus before making my return travel.

My wife and I decided to find and support a “new to us” coffee shop. We walked in all smiles and were the only customers there. First let me say it is a very small cute place. Hard to find off the main street. Located in the back alley. So walking in we weren’t sure if it was simply a roasting company and not a walk in cup of coffee kind of place. We asked the 1 employee working there if they serve coffee (and here is the start where 1.5 stars were lost) and he quietly pointed down at a menu laying on the counter. We were excited but he seemed to care less we were there. No smile. No “welcome in” comment. It felt like a scene from Portlandia. Anyways - another .5 star was deducted because they didn’t have almond milk and the coffee overall was just ok. The price however is great. Very reasonable. Wouldn’t go back but glad we tried something new. Hopefully the employee sees this and maybe works on cracking a smile once in a while.

Best cup I've had in years! A bit hard to find, so keep your eyes peeled, but definitely worth looking for. The owner was very nice, coffee was ground fresh for my order, and there's even a cute little spot to sit. Will be back and bring friends!

The best coffee in all of Orange County. You can taste the care that they put into selecting the beans and roasting them to perfection. You won't find a better bag of beans or a better cup of joe anywhere else.

We found Wilson while standing in line at Hi Time in CM. A total impulse buy when I squeezed the bag and could not resist the smell. Their espresso roast is the best we've found even compared to giants like LaVazza and many other local roasters. They really have something special here. ABSOLUTELY give them a try. Very well priced for a local roaster of this caliber. We've since visited the shop and the smell in that place is Heavenly. The owner is super cool and they have many other roasts to try there. Make a stop - you will not regret it.
