I got an upset stomach (I'm using polite terms) after eating here. I know it is from here because I didn't eat anything else today. The service is nice and the ambiance is nice, but since I got an upset stomach from the food I won't be eating here anymore. I had mousse and a cheese croissant. I don't know if the dairy was fresh and if it was sitting out all day. I am sad because I have always liked the foods here but now I am scared. The cookies are good too and I think are safe to eat because they don't need refrigeration.

We wanted to order dessert and asked if we were able to do so inside the restaurant, we were told yes. We went to be seated, someone came up and said we will be seated you in 5 minutes, even though there were multiple servers walking around an an empty restaurant. Once we sat down we asked if we could order dessert and were told we can only sit in the restaurant AND order dessert if we were getting dinner. We got up and left. So ghetto…. You really couldn’t let us eat a slice of cake for 15 minutes it’s not like the restaurant was busy. Can’t say anything for the food but the service was zero star.

Service 10 Food 10 Host 10 Kitchen was on ? the food was delicious and the staff did a great job going over the menu and recording what they thought we would enjoy. The waiter got everything out in a timely fashion and we loved every bite. The place felt clean and the surrounding decor was very welcoming, please take a moment and go enjoy this little hidden treasure.

Bart the hostess was extremely incompetent at his job. Our table was open for 45 minutes before he was able to figure out it was ready for us to sit there. Hour wait. Horrible service.

Mey was the best! I wish I could give more then 5 stars based off the service and and food. 10/10 recommend stoping at this spot for a glass of shopping champagne and a panini.

Fruit tarts and cheesecake are good. HOWEVER, the server sneezed at those pastries without a mask on. Customer service is non existent. She didn't want to answer my questions and seemed annoyed by her job. There's no ambiance.

We really enjoyed the yellow vase. Our salmon crepe was nicely filled with spinach and salmon. Although another tables was really filled with salad we received a sma amount in comparison. My son had the monte Christo. Very small amount of meat not like any monte cristo I have seen. Otherwise the salads look great would like to try them sometime. Enjoyed a nice quiet place away from the crowds at south coast

Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon around 3:30 pm. Wait wasn't too long for group of 3. Service was great and food tasted great. Will come back.

I don't know why the reviews about the staff are so bad I thought they were lovely tonight and the food was great!!

Came here on 12-11-22 to have lunch, hostess said the wait was approximately 20 minutes. After 30 minutes of waiting I asked how much longer until we are seated, to which he responded another 25-30 minutes. We promptly left. Before leaving, he explained that he tells everyone the wait is 20 minutes because of how busy they are. That is entirely misleading and a waste of peoples time. If you're going to have a hostess upfront telling people how long for a table, you need to be honest in your time approximations. This left a sour taste in my mouth and makes me, and many others who were told the same spiel not want to come back.

Not a place and staff with the holiday spirit. We were at the front of the line, ready to place an order. The staff ignored us, skipped us, and wanted to tend to someone behind us. When we tried to explain to her, she accused us of giving her attitude. No wonder the tip jar is not even half full.

We went here around 7 pm on a Saturday night, and it wasn't busy. We were seated right away and was attended to quickly. I ordered the BLT and substituted the salad with steamed veggies. Let me tell you, the steamed veggies were perfectly crispy: broccoli, green beans and carrots. I added some butter, that came with the complimentary bread. The sandwich was fantastic. The crispy thin bread they used was perfectly toasted crunchy. I liked how the bacon wasn't greasy but it was crunchy too. The price was a decent $13. In this day and age, $13 for a light dinner was a great find in the midst of the holiday hustle and bustle vibes of South Coast Plaza.
