I received an access lounge pass from one of the managers at a store at South Coast plaza. I remember coming here a few years ago when they accepted AMEX members. Due to Covid, they were closed for a while. I heard they were open again so I decided to check it out when I was shopping at South Coast. My access lounge pass was good for 4 people. I used to come before the pandemic and was sad to see they had closed for a while, but it turns out it was for renovation. I came over the weekend to see that they were back open. While I used to come as an Amex member they said that the partnership is no longer in place and that it's a true "members only" lounge. Update No Amex Platinum Access: It was great while it lasted. Went today because Saks doesn't open until 12pm, and thanks to all the greedy AMEX abusers of this great service, you cannot access the lounge without day pass. People don't be rude and greedy check in once, relax for a bit and leave. This is not your home. Hopefully we will gain acess again, I really enjoyed the service, and employees were always so nice.
