We had mixed feelings about this place. The customer service was excellent—friendly and attentive staff. However, the drinks were not that good, except for the yuzu martini, which was the only standout. The corkage fee was steep at $35, and the food was just okay—not bad, but nothing special. The most terrible dish we had was the Habachi filet mignon - chewy and gamey.
Food was good. Ambiance was good. Unfortunately, service was subpar. We came the day after Valentines which was justifiably busy, but they either were not staffed appropriately or were not organized well enough to service the extra visitors. Our food came out later than other parties that sat after us and the poor waitress was servicing so many tables that we often had to flag down other servers and runners to ask what we needed. Had Pretty in Pink cocktails, calamari, and a couple of specialty rolls for dinner. The presentation and quality of the food are delicious. The service seemed a bit unorganized, and the rolls came out 15 minutes apart, so we were stuck waiting till we both got our food to eat. Overall, it was a decent experience.
