Ordered the tri-tip salad that was terrible! Every bit of meat I had to spit into my napkin because it was so fatty. The presentation was also bad , looked like a bowl of dog food. This should have been alot better for a $16.00 salad. The beer I had was OK (nothing that I will be back for). Sorry to write a bad review but I kinda feel like I was ripped off. Will not be back.

Enjoying the Outdoors at Flagship Taproom Cotati
The weather was beautiful on Sunday, so we took advantage of it with an out-of-town trip and headed north. Around late lunchtime, we found ourselves in Cotati. As we pulled over to park in La Plaza de Cotati, I noticed the sign for Flagship Taproom across the parking lot. Remembering its presence from a previous visit before the pandemic, I decided to try it out after our poppy walk.
The Cotati location of Flagship Taproom has a nice outdoor seating area with seating for a few dozen people. Inside, they have a long bar, tables, stools, and TVs for sports fans. We opted for the outdoor seating. I checked the beer menu and asked for advice from the friendly young lady behind the bar. Following her recommendation, I chose Vato Loco, a Mexican Lager by Del Cielo Brewing Co. in Martinez, while my significant other opted for a Cherry Cider. To complete the experience, we ordered wings with Buffalo sauce.
The outdoor tables were filled with a mix of young couples, their babies, and dogs, creating a vibrant and friendly atmosphere. We enjoyed our first round of drinks so much that I ordered another round. This time, I chose Orange You Delicious, an IPA also by Del Cielo, with double the alcohol content of the Vato Loco but equally tasty and flavorful.
The wings were also delicious, and the Buffalo sauce had the perfect amount of spice I was looking for. We had a good time and, on the drive home, agreed that Flagship Taproom would be our go-to spot when we next visit Cotati.

Ok, we stopped here on our way home. Wasn't expecting to eat the BEST F-ING WINGS EVER! Smoked wings with an absolutely killer spicy Buffalo sauce. Blew my mind! Had a killer Porter, too. The bartender was kind. I bet the rest of the menu is great too... but all I had was 1 pound of wings... and that was enough. Simply fantastic ??

Personally I go to the Flagship in Windsor, so this review reflects my experiences at that location. Drink selection is excellent! On tap they generally (almost always) have multiple craft beers, AT LEAST one cider, a sour or two, often a hard kombucha option, a hard seltzer… I’m sure I’m missing something. As well as their on tap options, they offer alcoholic slushies that have their flavors changed out regularly. These are definitely one of my go to options. They often have one alcoholic & one non-alcoholic option. If you ever see the watermelon available, GET IT!! It’s amazing! Made with real watermelon & my all time favorite. I’ll try to wrap this up… last & certainly not least, THEIR STAFF is THE BEST ANYWHERE!! They’re friendly, knowledgeable, professional, go above & beyond to provide exceptional service & provide an unrivaled atmosphere. The food & drink are amazing but the main reason I am a regular is because of the staff. They ALL deserve a big raise!! Ok, I’m done lol. Windsor Flagship, I love & appreciate you ?
I lied, one more thing: Tap Takeovers on Friday are awesome! Lots of great breweries & fun raffle prizes. Trivia on Tuesday is a blast & Bingo on Thursdays (not happening during the Green’s summer concert series) is so much fun!! Definitely worth a visit ? Vegetarian options: Veggie sandwich is one of my favorite options, hummus plate… now that I’m thinking about it, they actually don’t have any items that cannot be made as a vegetarian option due to the seasoned jackfruit that is available as a meat substitute. Well, I guess the wings disprove that statement but you get the idea.
Dietary restrictions: They provide gluten free bread options as well as vegetarian options & deliciously seasoned jack fruit as a meat substitute for sandwiches, tacos, or nachos- whatever you want it on really.
Parking: Parking is ALWAYS free but from 8 or 9AM (not positive) to 6PM the parking is limited to 3 hours per space. However, full transparency, I’ve only seen the parking times being monitored twice in the last 6 months. In my experience, parking is only difficult to find on Thursday afternoons/evenings due to the summer concert series that is held at the Green.
Kid-friendliness: Kids are in here all the time & they even have a small nook in the back corner that has board games, playing cards, Jenga (or "Blocks" if you’ve got a fussy 2 year old lol), & more.
Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible with well paved sidewalks & tables of different heights to accommodate all customers.
