The pizza and wings were delicious. The owner was charming and we will be back again.
Crazy good pizza, after reading the reviews here. I had to try this place, half the reviews say the crust is burnt and the owner is difficult. The other half is the best pizza reviews. I definitely side with the best pizza reviews. Both crusts were really good and well baked with care and I totally dig the little char areas on the crust. Toppings were fresh and plenty. Highly recommended for the hand made artisan pizza lover.
Couldn't even get someone to answer the phone without putting it down on the counter for 10 minutes. Pizza isn't bad but customer service sucks
My husband and I went to this restaurant for the first time yesterday because it was highly recommended. OMG! It was the best pizza I have ever had! I ordered the "Chicago Thin Crust - end to end toppings, cut in squares with one half pesto sauce and the other half garlic parmesan white sauce. It was soooooo good! My husband had the "Meat Lovers" specialty pizza and he loved it! I also had the Shrimp Cocktail with large prawns and it was the best! The owner, Steve, took our order and waited on us. He was so nice and talked with us about the food and his prior experience as a French Chef. We were served pretty quickly and I loved the pizza lifters that came with the pizza so you don't have to use your hands to serve yourself. "New Times Pizza" is my new favorite pizza place to go! Thank you Steve!
Just letting everyone know the restaurant posted on Craigslist in the for sale section that he called people in Rohnert Park unsophisticated and low income. If anyone is unsophisticated it is you good sir. Below is his/her exact words on Craigslist."I have an offer to move my spectacular...absolutely best in California, Pizza Concept to the City where it can flourish instead of slowly build in a small, unsophisticated, low income town."
Pizza here is good! They don't skimp on toppings, we like the special pizza combos and the mac and cheese is legit. I personally like the way it is cooked and have no complaints. We just tried their take and bake and while tasty, I realize I'd rather have it baked and then reheated quickly in oven. Had no issues with person working there, friendly and helped with taking our order back out to the car.
This pizza was the WORST PIZZA I’ve ever had in my life. When we called to order, the owner was extremely rude and blunt. Despite his rudeness we still decided to give the pizza a try. When we came and picked it up the guy barely said a word to us and looked annoyed that we were there. We got in our car and took a look at the pizza and it looked horrendous. We tried a bite and somehow this place made the crust burnt while the dough was half uncooked. We ended up throwing the whole pizza away since it was so inedible. The prices are cheap for a reason. The location is also a horrible spot. Their sign is blocking the vision of the road so you have to almost be in the on coming traffic lane to see if cars are coming. There are plenty of cheap pizza places that have at least decent pizza for their price. I’d recommend little Caesar’s before I would recommend this place.
Owner is rude, defensive, very disrespectful and food is nothing to write home about. We tried this place when it first opened and it wasn’t the greatest, fine work out the kinks we’ll try it again. Tried a second time, ordered just a cheese pizza it was ok. My main issue with this place is the owner. I use the same driveway as the restaurant daily and anyone who knows this driveway know it’s horrible to pull out of. Since the rain one of his signs has fallen and is now blocking view of an entire lane. We politely called and asked him to straighten it up so we could pull out of the driveway, he was very rude said his sign wasn’t an issue and no where near blocking to road, he then very rudely asked me to come show him, so I did. I was greeted very poorly as a costumer and once he realized why I was there, he didn’t want to hear me out, tried to show him pictures of it blocking the view and he just kept talking louder than me. He finally said he’d straighten it and I thanked him and said that’s all I asked, but he continued to be rude and passive aggressive. Will not be returning and warning everyone to stay away. Definitely not safe with New Times Pizza (as their website suggests)
I've wrestled with this one for a while now.Sometimes I just want a really good cheese pizza. New Times Pizza has a $10 special. This seemed like the perfect combo (if you'll forgive the pizza punnage.) An inexpensive way to try a new (to me) local place. It was, to be honest, not a good pizza. At least not in my opinion. It was super thin. Not just the crust. The whole pizza. The crust was tough and the sauce lacked flavor. At one point I actually wondered if I was being punished for being cheap.Seriously. Times are tough and I could tell this guy works really hard. Maybe it was a bad day when I visited.Try it for yourself and let me know.
If you think artisan pizza is burnt then this is the place for you. I tried it once and liked it but didn’t like it burnt. Called again and the guy said burnt was part of the artisan pizza…he did try to talk me out of ordering so this is on me. I won’t be back. It was cold in the box, he said to come in 25 mins and it looked like it had been waiting at least 10. He was kind of rude even though he was honest. Also sauce was very light. My husband loved it so he will be back.

Great pricing with quality ingredients. A classic pizza place, just like your remember from childhood. Burnt my pizza tho, still ate it
Delicious, fresh, and friendly. We'd never had this style of pizza before, but order from here by default once we tried it. The quality ingredients, lightly burned edges (on purpose), and fresh crust are addictive. Price is fair for the quality, and it doesn't leave you feeling sluggish and heavy.Supreme, the new times, and arrabiata are my faves.
I am from the east coastHave been in Sonoma county a long timeNothing on the west coast comes close to New Times Pizza!! New favorite! Surprised the line was not out the door. Cute, clean and excellent service too!
Got the vegan (love the cheese) and regular cheese pizza. Thought they were both really good. Not greasy! Which was a plus. Sometimes with cheese you get grease pools on top, not with this one. We WILL be ordering again!! Hubby and the kids gave it two thumbs up!
Let's be real. Food in the picture never looks the same in person. THAT'S not the case with New Times Pizza this is a solid restaurant. Great flavors and prices. Every pizza is quality and delicious.
