If you are a tourist, perhabs, driving from or to Yosemites, you MUST stop there. This little town, this shop, and its lovely hosts are such a nice and true experience. The food was excellent, too.They actually had everything for a family: subs, hot dogs, juice, ice cream. But then, a traveling company came to drink a couple of beers at the bar in a separate room.The place is a gem. Experience it while it shines.
Lovely local deli. I enjoy getting a sandwich whenever I get back home on leave. Portions are generous, price is reasonable and it's all good quality. The owner is a fun and energetic person and a fun conversationalist. Also!! Biscuits and gravy in the morning on Saturdays!
Kid-friendliness: Not a huge menu but you can at least get your kids a PB&J while you enjoy your generous deli sandwich.
