I’m African American and I know this ain’t no real soul food eveything is canned and disgusting! I had the chicken & waffles with glory greens ! Chicken was hard and tough ! My mans hot link sandwich was poorly put together the bread was smashed . BB HAS A NASTY ATTITUDE. & very over priced. She set up in the right areas bc she know them other color people will fall for anything. Is real African Americans know wassup ! This ain’t it ! I will never come back !

From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with welcoming smiles and the inviting smell of delicious food that draws you right in.
I tried their Big Daddy Burrito, and let me tell you—it was absolutely phenomenal. Stuffed with perfectly smoked meats and just the right amount of sauce, it’s the perfect BBQ burrito. But the star of the show was their Smoked Brisket Sandwich paired with mac 'n' cheese and BBQ beans—an absolute flavor explosion!
The atmosphere is fantastic too. The music playlist is on point, creating the perfect vibe while you enjoy your meal. And the customer service? Exceptional! They went above and beyond, sharing all the details about their food and even gave me a sample of their amazing greens. I left full, but still wanting more because everything was just that good!

This place is so wonderful!! We came in and ordered to go right before closing and the owner was so kind and gave us good recommendations. We got the fried shrimp and the chicken and waffles and they were both incredible with huge portions. Even the packaging was super thoughtful to make sure that nothing got soggy, which was greatly appreciated. 10/10 would absolutely travel back across the country to try it again lol :)

My family and I visited BBs a year ago while we were in California and the food was great, the owner was hilarious and she prayed over our food and our travels. It was definitely a memorable experience.
the staff is soooooo kind. i came on a whim, wanted to try something soulful… i liked the chicken and waffles. i was hoping for a more thin and sweeter waffle but it paired well with the chicken. the fried chicken was good, nice and crispy. i liked the mac n cheese too! very very good. the young woman in the front (i’m so sorry i didn’t get your name) was sooo kind. she spoke to me using my name and it felt like i had been a regular there. i will be now :)… there is not a lot of seating options, its pretty small. but, it was fine to take to go. i would recommend parking in the parking garage across the street next to the used car lot with all the teslas. it was 2 dollars… quick walk to and from. the strawberry lemonade was also good!
Parking: use the metro link parking garage across the street.
