Only to drive all the way home and realize my chicken Parm sandwich is a corned beef sandwich. No lunch for me today I suppose. I spent a total of 75 dollars bc I picked up some lasagna and stuffed shells for dinner too. ? Only to call in and be told they are too busy with other customers. Please hold.I've been on hold 15 minutes.This place used to be my favorite.After how I was treated today, I don't foresee going back again?

This place has great sandwiches. Although the selection is very limited, the quality definitely makes up for it. Another plus is that you can buy your own ingredients and take them with you to make your own creations at home.What really surprised me is how great the pizza is. If I had one complaint, it would be how pickled the pizza tastes with jalapeños on it. Maybe easy on the jalapeños? If you love meat on pizza, though....this is the place to go in Covina.It's just a shame they took down the signs about not putting onions in their sandwiches and removing the pacman game from the first table in the dining area. Those were nice little touches that gave the place a particular charm I very miss.- Dip your pastrami if you want a jucier sandwich.- If you want mustard or mayo, you have to ask for it.- Try it the way they make it before deciding to customize.

Our family has been coming here for decades because the food is great. They have the best sandwiches around, in my opinion. I try to call ahead of time because there is usually a long line (of course there would be for food this good), but even when I don't call ahead the wait is worth it.The bread is always soft and fresh and they do NOT skimp on the fillings. I finally ordered the Colossus sandwich (3 feet long, 14-16 inches wide; $125.95 + $12 optional cutting fee) from their catering menu for a Super Bowl party that we hosted and it was a hit. I ordered half with turkey and the other half as a cold cut combo.Their family meals with spaghetti, ravioli, and lasagna are also our favorites and the Italian cookies at the front get us every time. The kids love the drink selection, which includes a large array of unique bottled soda flavors.I hope they never go out of business!

Was really hopeful for a great Sammy however was completely disappointed. I based my decision to go here for the first time based on the pictures and reviews. I guess me not being a regular got me the regular French roll unlike the sesame seed topped bread I was expecting. If that was an option I wish it was presented to me as I had mentioned it was my first time. Anyways I will not be back. The only thing going for them was they sell bread from my local baker and maybe the pizza as it looked good in the picture however I will not be back to spend my hard earned money for such a bait and switch.

Great pastrami sandwiches!!! You must make it with garlic bread!!! UPDATE: 02.10.2024.... I went to get cold cuts to make my own sandwiches at home. My only mistake was not getting the young girls name who took care of me. SUPER nice, very sweet and she definitely cared about the clients. I got 6 slices of each roast beef, salami, mortadella and smoked gouda and provolone. Also 6 delicious chocolate drop cookies. Staff very busy so be patient. But all that means they are AWESOME!!! Great food and home town feel from Italy! Must get... Pizza. Roast beef sand, lasagna!!!! We at the Acura Dealer LOVE Capri Deli!

Was in town taking care or business and wanted a good sub sandwich went to capri not a good choice small amount of meat then to find out they 1.78 for toppings like olives peppers jalapeños ...then they don't even stock onions or avocado should of just went subway or jersey mikes ..or any place for lunch but there O well u dont know tell u try new places

This is a great spot. They have a variety of choices on their menu to choose from. They have a great deli with fresh meats and cheeses and have a great selection of imported drinks. The pizzas are really good too! Every time I come here it's always a little busy but worth the wait. This deli seems to have a popular following which is great, I'll be back for sure!
