My go-to place for Italian subs. ??I announce the motocross races here in Southern California and I always have to have Claro's up in the tower when I'm on the mic. ??I get the spicy Mike large and I have them swap out the ghost pepper jack with manchego cuz I'm digging sheep and goat cheese right now. It's fantastic either way. ??There's plenty of parking at this location and they're not stingy with the portions. The staff is extremely friendly and they have lots of goodies in the market to browse and try. Today I brought home an Italian artisan beer and I have to say it is fantastic. Mastri Birrai Umbri IPA. ?Ask for Kathy, Paloma, or Cecilia (aka Cici). ??

Amazing food but got yelled at by one of their managers today for asking how long and at what temp to heat my carry out order. I was really surprised he would treat a customer that way, If he worked for me he'd be kicked to the curb. I guess you never know what issues someone is battling. I'm letting it go and praying for him. Just be warned. On top of that my order had 3 items, he only gave me 2. I'm out $30. Hope his life gets better. I'll be taking my business to other Italian places.

Food was great but I'm only giving 2 stars due to the service. My coworker placed a phone order 10 minutes before our lunch. The phone order was made around 10:50. We were told it would take 20 to 30 minutes. We arrived at 11:10 only to find out our order wasn't even started. We finally received our order by 11:35.

I love this place. It's such a cute Italian market. They have a great supply of Italian products as well as a small deli. I ordered a veggie sandwich from the deli and they put so much cheese it was great. The worker was super nice and helpful and packaged the sandwich halves separately since my friend and I were sharing. Super kind service here and the food is really good. Highly recommend checking it out.

Wow! As soon as you step inside this place your tummy tells you, order everything! We just wanted a quick bite for lunch so my husband ordered the Great Grandpa Joe's and I got a small meatball sandwich. We also shared a spiral pasta salad. The grandpa Jo's was the best Italian sandwich we've ever had. We've tried a bunch of places but nothing has ever come close. My meatball sub was amazing. The bread, the sauce, and the meatballs were all perfection. Even the pasta salad was delicious. This is about half an hour away from us, but definitely worth the drive. And the total for 2 sandwiches, a pound of pasta salad and 2 drinks came out to $31 which I think is a decent price given the taste and size of food you're getting. Can't wait to go back.

# 81 Review for 2024 5 Stars***** I recently visited Claro's Italian Market and had an amazing experience! The antipasto salad was generous and delicious at only $10.99, as you can see in the photos. The Kobe sandwich with beef, horseradish, tomato, lettuce, and cheddar cheese was fantastic. This market offers a wide selection of Italian delights, from ready-made lasagna to sausages and meatballs. I appreciate the excellent service, reasonable prices, and top-notch quality. Definitely a deserving 5-star market!

I've been a loyal Claros customer for a long time, having visited all their locations. Today marked my first visit to their Covina branch, and unfortunately, it was marred by the worst customer service experience I've had in a while. Despite planning to pick up enough for about 10 pizzas for my daughter's birthday, my encounter at 1 PM was disheartening. The store, although not busy, had no pizza dough left. When I inquired about fresh dough at the cookie counter, a young woman in her mid-20s responded with a cold and condescending tone, saying, "I'm getting to it." I stood perplexed, and she continued, "Come back in 45 minutes if you want." And walked away. Even considering a busy scenario, her attitude seemed inappropriate, especially with the store nearly empty. A significant letdown. Considering trying Capri's deli down the street in the hope of better-trained staff.
