Food is decent. Service is bad. Prices are $20+ for basically anything. Overall wouldn’t recommend.

Staff was inattentive, ordered a beer and it arrived after our food. About a 15 to 20 minutes. Asked for a box for left overs then waited another 10 to 15 minutes for our check. There was only one other table seated in the restaurant.

Just finished eating at this BBQ place with my wife and son 5 minutes ago. My wife and I have tried many so-called famous BBQ spots in California — including the one across from the Swallows Church — but compared to this one, they pale in comparison. This place is truly a hidden gem. The food was incredibly delicious, so tender and juicy, and the portions were generous. People who put this much heart into making BBQ deserve to be rewarded. I sincerely hope their business thrives forever.

Amazing meat and service! Emma was our server and she was very efficient and helpful! The brisket, pulled pork and St Louis ribs were delicious. But the stand out for me were the Brussels sprouts! Wow!!
🔥 DOMESTIC BBQ – Covina, CA
Tucked into downtown Covina, DOMESTIC serves up California-style BBQ with a creative twist. The brisket and St. Louis ribs are smoked low and slow, and the bacon mac & cheese is a must-try comfort side. I loved the cozy vibe, friendly staff, and dog-friendly patio—perfect for a laid-back meal. Pro tip: grab the tri-tip fries and save room for their bread pudding. Portions are generous, flavors are bold, and the house-made sauces seal the deal.

Food was good. They were out of Ribs, Brisket, and chicken. Service was OK. Our server seemed to have a attitude but got better later. They were kinda busy though maybe that was it. The old fashioned was good as well.

I've been coming here for a few years and the portions are getting ridiculously smaller and the prices continue to go up!! I paid 120 dollars for two plates that had 2 ribs and a sausage and a couple of Luke warm beers, service sucked.i will never go back
Good food, great service, fun cocktails. Brisket is #1. Very, very good.
Went here because of that one buzzfeed video since this place is so close from where I live. And it was worth it!

Amazing BBQ!!! Everything is great on this menu I had the brisket flautas as well and they won't disappoint you
Worked next to this booth at Smorgasbord last year. Even after the end of the day, their bbq was spectacular. Sitting down and experiencing a whole spread of their specialties was well worth the wait. Great bbq that smokes the hell out of Texas.
Not great, food was okay. Service was excellent. They were very attentive. Employees at this location made up for the lack of flavor with the food.
I was really excited to eat here. The pork rind appetizer was delicious and seemed to be freshly made. Unfortunately I didn't feel the same way about all the meat. The beef short rib and pulled pork were delicious, I would definitely recommend those, but the tri-tip and the brisket was not warm and was dry. Overall the service was good and the atmosphere was immaculate. I would want to give the brisket and tri-tip another try, maybe arriving earlier would yield a better result. Oh yeah, the sides (baked beans, fries, and potato salad) were good also.
The whole meal was really good spent the whole time enjoying everything with the family...the food kept warm till the end.
