Food was good. They were out of Ribs, Brisket, and chicken. Service was OK. Our server seemed to have a attitude but got better later. They were kinda busy though maybe that was it. The old fashioned was good as well.
Worked next to this booth at Smorgasbord last year. Even after the end of the day, their bbq was spectacular. Sitting down and experiencing a whole spread of their specialties was well worth the wait. Great bbq that smokes the hell out of Texas.
I was really excited to eat here. The pork rind appetizer was delicious and seemed to be freshly made. Unfortunately I didn't feel the same way about all the meat. The beef short rib and pulled pork were delicious, I would definitely recommend those, but the tri-tip and the brisket was not warm and was dry. Overall the service was good and the atmosphere was immaculate. I would want to give the brisket and tri-tip another try, maybe arriving earlier would yield a better result....
