Minimal collection of Indian groceries. This maybe more of a restaurant serving Indian food.
They do charge 50 cents on card payments if the transaction is less than $10.
So this place is a small indian market, but it turns out that they make some quite delicious food there. I recently got a chicken masala and lamb biriyani, and the cook gave me some yogurt which really compliments the meal. I now see why Indians would have yogurt with their food. Anyways, it was all delicious.
Always great food and the owner is a good guy. Always has reccomendations whenever Im un sure. Been coming here for 12 years at least. Highly reccomended!
A true gem! The owners are incredibly kind and friendly, and the curry is absurdly good. You can tell they put time and effort into their food. This will be my go to spot for Indian food from now on!
Food is overpriced and tastes terrible.
Delicious food prepared with Love
Not sure if he's the owner, but the guy who rang me up was so pleasant. He was very personable and that's what usually keeps customers going back to a business.
I’ve heard so many great things about this restaurant so I was excited to try it out for the first time. I was greeted by Billu and his wife who were both kind and genuine people. They run the restaurant so well and make an amazing team. The chicken tikka masala, vegetable korma, and garlic naan all tasted absolutely amazing. They even made my food fresh since it was a little before closing time when I ordered. They went above and beyond just to make my first experience that much more memorable. I’ll definitely be returning again to support them and their business. Thank you so much!
I’d gone by this store a few times and went in and I didn’t know where anything was but Billu and his wife Ruby were so nice and answered any and every question I had. The cooked food is amazing. I’ve gone in and every time I go in I’m greeted with genuine warmth kindness. I bought some rice and they explained to me how to make it twice and they didn’t seem mind explaining it me. I absolutely love India Fresh and the owners are two of my new favorite people.
The food was fantastic! The flavors were spot on, and the meat was incredibly tender. The owner was also very welcoming and enjoyable to chat with. I’ll definitely be back!

Stopped by for chai and Punjabi samosas. The owner Mr Ballu Singh made them fresh and piping hot. Good spot for having a quick chai.
Great service
I used to come here about 15 yrs ago and when I moved back in the area again recently, it's not the same. Not friendly and place looks like it's not cleaned daily. Sorry but I'll be going somewhere else.
The food was tasty and the owner was very helpful. But I have a suggestion, you guys need to provide a small portion of curry with less price. So we can come always.
I went to grab a salad from Clement's Northwoods Inn when my older daughter called, asking me to pick up some Indian food from across the street at Indian Fresh. So, I headed over and immediately noticed that Indian Fresh is part of an Indian market selling Indian food. Walking in, I was hit with a mess--boxes everywhere, dirt on the floor, and no one at the front. It was completely uninviting, but I pushed through to the back. There was a food prep area and a guy with his back to me. When I said hello, he turned around with an attitude and rudely asked what I wanted. I ordered tikka masala and butter chicken, but the food looked old and gross, with dirt around it. I thought, fine, this is what my daughter wanted, so I went ahead. I asked if they had garlic, and he said they had everything, still with that awful attitude. I inquired about goat cheese, and he snapped back that they didn't have it.
Then, he had the nerve to tell my three-year-old daughter to stay close to me while she picked her ice cream. I told him she was just choosing, and he still insisted I keep her next to me. I apologized and stood by her while she picked her ice cream. She chose an orange-cream popsicle, and I opened it for her. Meanwhile, I noticed this guy never washed his hands, and his long beard was practically touching the food--disgusting! But I brushed it off because my daughter wanted Indian food. Then he came back out, all aggressive, telling us to wait outside until she finished her ice cream because he didn't want her to dirty his floor. I couldn't believe his rudeness! I asked him why he was so angry and rude. If she made a mess, I'd clean it up with a napkin--she was just eating a popsicle!
His whole store was filthy, trash everywhere, and the food looked dirty. His attitude was offensive, and if my daughter hadn't been with me, I would've confronted him physically. I decided I didn't want the food anymore, just the ice cream. He continued to be disrespectful, and I told him he must have plenty of money if he didn't care about his business. He shot back, telling me I didn't know anything about him and to get out. I left, but I could still hear him mumbling. I put my daughter in the car and almost went back to confront him, but I thought better of it. He called me names, and I fired back, telling him he was rude and belligerent. He threatened to call the police! Honestly, if my three-year-old hadn't been there, I would've knocked him out. I might still go back and do it, but something told me it wasn't worth it.
I'm leaving a review because everyone should steer clear of this place. It's filthy, the service is terrible, and he's clearly racist, only wanting to deal with Indian customers. I should've read the reviews first--everyone says the same thing! He's a crook with his prices, so buyers beware! Avoid this place at all costs! The food is disgusting unless you like hair and dirt in your food and honestly, if I wasn't in that area, I wouldn't even consider going there!
