I had friends who went to the Kalaveras in La puente and they said this was so much better. Good food, good brunch, music was nice and not to loud so that we're not screaming at the people sitting next to us. it was a good mom brunch for us who need it having kiddos. Our server Rocio was amazing! nice, friendly and always asking if we needed anything. totally would go back!

VERYY BADD CUSTOMER SERVICE this time! I came here last time and no problem at all everything was perfect' but this time was very different!! They sat us down and we got chips and salsa and that was IT!!!! We waited 10 min and no one came, it wasn't even packed!!! The waiter went to every table except ours!! And no one came so we gave them 5 more min to come and still nothing!!! HORRIBLE!! Very bad service they didn't even offer us water so we left!, they need to work on better customer service!!

Good food, fun and pleasant ambiance, but it felt like there was one waitress for the whole establishment. Was a hassle to get ahold of the waitress. Went at non-peak hours. Better luck next time maybe.

I went here last week and service was horrible. We ordered drinks and they didnt come until after our food. Not only this, our order was missing a few items as well. We tipped the busboy more for his service then the waitress.

Another Social Media Influencer and Over rated. Just like all other restaurants using Social Media to promote themselves and they show videos of large portions and well served tacos, only to find out that it’s too good to be true. Their 99 cents Taco Tuesday street tacos are 2 1/2”-3” double red corn small tortillas with less than 2ounces of meat on them. Only to try and push their overpriced drinks with your tiny tacos order. All their meats are dry, overcooked and reheated with bland flavors. I Don’t recommend this chain franchise restaurants and you’re better off going to small mom & pops taco shops for really good street tacos. ???

My second time here and this time around it was way better then the first time. Today we went for taco Tuesday and let me say I'm very particular and all the meats I ordered were delicious! I had the al pastor, birria and the carnitas. The tacos are small but worth it for the price. The only thing I would recommend is to maybe lower the music a bit during the day, it's hard to have conversations over loud music. Other than that recommended the tacos :)

We came for Sunday brunch. We got seated right away we got there around 1230. The food options were really good from regular breakfast to chilaquiles, tamales, tacos, chile rellenos, posole, menudo and much more. They have complimentary Aguas frescas in the Buffet area and Bottomless Mimosas. The service for the mimosas was ok. The girl who attended us wouldn't pass as much and the mimosas had more OJ than champagne. But the food was really good. I would definitely go again for the food. The Brunch is $39.99 in the Covina location.

We went to Kalaveras for mimosa brunch on Sunday. Unlike other brunch spots the mimosas are not included and it's an additional fee which they do not mention. So a mimosa brunch will cost you about $52 and that doesn't include added gratuity if you are with a larger group or if your bill is over $200. The food options were okay and food was good. Quesobirria tacos were delicious my favorite. Drinks were good. Of course this place is pricy which I'm sure everyone knows going into it. This Kalaveras is very light and bright inside compared to the City of Industry location. Service was good when we went over the weekend. At some points we waiting a while for drinks but not too bad.
