Waitress did a good job, but the bar was very slow took over 15mins just to get a refill on beer let alone a mixed drink. Need to improve on that probably not ever returning.

I’m a single Asian woman so I think it has something to do with it too. I don’t think they like Asians. I came to this restaurant during happy hour. I am one person and I had the Mezcal old-fashioned, which is the most expensive item on their happy hour and I ordered the edamame appetizer and the linguine and meatballs for dinner. The food was delicious, I ordered a glass of red wine from there happy hour menu. The bartender short poured me. I know because the lady next to me ordered it before I ordered it and it was more. Then she ordered another glass and it was still more than my glass. I gave the bartender a chance to make it right with me, but all she came up with was some kind of weird excuse that that was the right pour. Now the owner is accusing me of having a free glass of wine, which is not true. The Bartender took it away, cause I told her I didn’t want it anymore. I never had a glass of wine so how can the wine be free?

Our group rented the speak easy for a private party. The drinks were made well. The food was good although I didn't eat much. Its a comfy room for 15 or so guests. Would definitely come back here!

Pretty good food and ambience, for Covina. Dress up a bit when you go here. Just a little on the pricey side, but usually has live music on weekends. Sometimes the music is uncomfortably loud though, for a dinner house!
Drinks are good. Desserts are good. Entertainment was good. DONT ORDER A STEAK. Super dry and overpriced for what you get. Cooked medium rare and was dry! Sent it back but was told that it was cooked correctly. Steak probably sat in the freezer for months. Better steaks at Denny’s!

The place is buzzing in an early Friday evening. Live music starts at 8 and judging from the crowd coming in around 730 the gig must be pretty good. My steak was slightly over cooked from medium rare but it was tasty. For a $50 steak I expect a bit more flair. Overall the experience was good of a neighborhood restaurant.
