I started working around the area about 5 years ago and one day I wanted soup for lunch and I found this place. I went in and the entire restaurant was absolutely amazing the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The lunch deals are the best, a cup of soup of the day with half a sandwich is hard to beat. I started ordering some of their desserts (especially the carrot cake) and cookies and now I go back just because I’m craving them. My work place moved locations but I still drive over to get a great lunch. I’ve recommended this location to many friends and family and everyone has loved it.

I’ve always enjoyed the food here at Old World. The broiled chicken and deli meats are what they are known for. However todays meal was a lunch special. 1/2 sandwich and choice of soup was the right amount. The soup had many choice and all sounded excellent. I chose the creamy chicken with wild rice. The sandwich was a hot pastrami with melted cheese. Not just a full sandwich cut in half but a half sized roll filled with pastrami. Another note, most gals behind the counter weee older moms who still give a crap about working. As opposed to someone else (younger) who didn’t want to be there. Mom also gave me a sample of the chili. Awesome.
Been going here since I was a kid. Waaaaaaaaay back. They had other locations that my family would frequent but this one is the one we visit now. I love everything i get but my fave is the eggplant parm. (OK. And lasagna. And chicken. And... Oh, who am I kidding. There's more)
Great local business with delicious food and many choices. They also have a deli and bakery. So they've got dessert and something for lunch on Monday. Highly recommend. Go check it out.
