Some times work takes me through Covina, and everytime I stop at Rad Coffee. Their coffee is always great and they have extremely friendly and helpful staff. Their horror aesthetic is a delight with a spooky arcade in the back. They always have funky seasonal offerings, which can be fun ... but don't make the same mistake I did when ordering anything with festive foam toppings. It will stain your teeth into oblivion.

Truly would only visit again for the vibes and pinball machines- my coffee was mostly milk and didn’t taste good, and I got a tart and donut. The tart was filled what seemed like rock candy, just hard and overly sweet- it also was called Fauxy Pebbles so I thought the colorful bits were a cereal, they were just chunks of stale icing. The donut was mid, not the worst I’ve had, but there was a SILICA PACKET IN THE BOX that no one told me about and wasn’t visible through the packaging that I bit on my first bite- I spit it out before puncturing, but only because my partner saw it- I almost finished biting thinking that the donut had a rubbery bottom.
The pinball machines were fun to check out and play, but I wouldn’t get food or drinks there again.
