They recently changed the menu and took cold brew away, not really a fan of iced coffees. Kind of miss their specialty drinks too cause this new menu is disappointing for me at least.

So I usually go on Saturday to pick up my coffee. For the most part, the coffee is delicious. But unfortunately, on January 3, 2026. About 1 PM. I ordered four different coffees. And one of them was shot of espresso white mocha latte iced oat milk. With caramel! There is no way any of It was 1/oat milk 2/ where’s the espresso shot 3/ caramel- It tasted like watered down milk with a slight taste of coffee. I don’t get it. Did they put all the coffee and everything else and the other ones that I bought or what? Don’t know if someone was near there or training or what but it was horrible. By the time I noticed. I was already on the freeway heading back to Brea. I’ve called a couple times but no one answers so that that’s why I’m leaving my review.

We ordered hot lattes (unflavored), and the lattes were alright
There were no tables, but they have arcade games lined up against one of the walls
The service felt like it was on the slower side, and the ambiance was mid at best

Usually I love Rad coffee but today was my worst experience there. I was trying to get a blended coffee and asked for a horrorchata, blended, she asked if I wanted espresso added to it, I was confused and asked if it had coffee and she said it had a coffee base but no. So I opted for another holiday option, red velvet with espresso and white chocolate I believe. I asked if I could have it blended and she said yes, paid $10 for the drink and got it iced. I asked her if I could have it blended since that’s what I drink, I don’t drink iced coffee and she said no it only comes iced…. I wouldn’t have gotten the drink if it wasn’t blended :/ just really disappointed I spent that much on a drink that isn’t even something I like

Some times work takes me through Covina, and everytime I stop at Rad Coffee. Their coffee is always great and they have extremely friendly and helpful staff. Their horror aesthetic is a delight with a spooky arcade in the back. They always have funky seasonal offerings, which can be fun ... but don't make the same mistake I did when ordering anything with festive foam toppings. It will stain your teeth into oblivion.
