Checking decor right when I walked through the door. It has been too long since I've had huacatay, I miss having it on our weekly lunches. The lomo saltado will take you back to when you first fell in love with Peruvian cuisine. I'm so delighted to have come to Sabor a Perú and met the owner and his mother (she bakes the delicious shortbreads that you will want to try). I encourage, nay implore you to come and savor the dishes that made me fall in love with the food.

Not authentic,too salty and no where that distinctive Peruvian flavor! A 3% fee on all credit card payment was very upsetting and they still wanted tip, not going back

We found the restaurant by chance. At the beginning they welcomed us kindly and suggested their best dishes. We ordered the lomo saltado and the mixed ceviche. They gave us an explanation of each dish. In truth, it is authentic food and made to order. Super recommended. Thanks ?

I found this through Google map under explore. Someone recommended this place. I was pleasantly surprised with how the food turns out. I ordered their Lomo Saltado rice which is their popular dish, but also ordered it with spaghetti. They were both good. Portions were big and the flavors were just right. Will try other dishes in the future.

Wow! Delicious ?. I went to Mr. Pollo first and there was a 40 min wait. This place was 5 min away and prices were better with a wider variety of Peruvian food. I think next time I will try Camarones Saltado. ?

Mom and pops joint with great food. They make it as you order and use great ingredients. The Lomo saltado and chaufa de Lomo (fried rice) are my families go to combo. It's not the cheapest but it's worth the quality.
Delicious Peruvian food! Lots of flavor, generous portions. Friendly service, clean, comfortable seating arrangements. Tasty......definitely coming back when visiting area.

Very unpleasant experience in this restaurant. We ordered a fish jelly and were served a dish that looked like fried fish with a couple of yucas; when we told them that this was not a jelly, like the one you eat in any restaurant; We were told that they do it this way because they make their dishes healthy. We ordered a ceviche, the juice tasted good, but the fish was flavorless and raw and the portion was very small for the price. Nice lomo saltado. Finally, when it came time to pay, they charged us more than the prices on their menu said and when I asked why they charged me more, they told me that the prices were not updated and were now more expensive. I have visited many Peruvian restaurants, but we had not found a Peruvian restaurant that does not offer quality Peruvian food and does not respect the prices they offer to customers.
