I grew up going to this one, and the one that used to be on amar can't believe there are three items is now, ten bucks, and I got three bean and cheese burritos that used to be the go to back in the day.Got them to go put them in my backpack. No pressure against them.By the time I got home thirty minutes later that should have spilled all out of the burritos like it was soup.I don't know what these people have done. But don't waste your money, this ain't the snappies. You used to know overpriced garbage

Hole in the wall type place, which means it's not fancy, but the food is great!

It's outside seating so for me it was good. Not the greatest view of things but they decorated to make it cozy and cute.

I've been going here since the '70s, unfortunately the prices are extremely high. A bean and cheese burrito is $8 it's extremely small I paid an additional dollar for extra cheese I got a burrito so tiny virtually without any cheese at all. I get it prices have increased everything's more money but $8 for a tiny little burrito there's too many other places you can go to get a much better value and better quality and taste. Even del Taco is twice the size and 80% less cost.

As IF we needed another “authentic” Mexican place. You know what we don’t have anymore? A great CLASSIC Mexican place. We had one, but they killed it. Plus, the food isn’t even all that good, compared to others. It’s a big loss to the neighborhood.

I loved it so much!!!

I recently took my wife back to her hometown in La Puente, and we stopped at Snap E Taco in nearby Covina. The food was excellent — flavorful, fresh, and made with care. The portions were generous, and everything tasted just like authentic home-style Mexican food should.

The service was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere had that classic local charm that makes you feel right at home. It’s the kind of place that reminds you why small, family-run spots often beat the big chains.

If you’re in town and craving Mexican food, Snap E Taco is definitely worth the stop. We’ll be back next time we’re in town!

I've been going to Snap-E-Taco for 32 years. It is an institution. Love that red sauce!
-Update- Snap-E-Taco is currently going through a glow up. New sign, new seats, same great food! It's great to see! Get out and support this institution.

Food is great. If you are missing the Snap e tacos that closed a couple of years ago on Amar, this one has pretty much the same classic menu plus a lot of new items
