I've visited EL Picosito Taqueria a few times since my last review. I understand that some places have off days, and I'm usually forgiving. The staff has always been friendly when taking my orders. I've been there with friends a few times, and the atmosphere is comfortable. The place is always clean. When it comes to food, I've always enjoyed their tacos, rice, and beans. If you order beans and cheese à la carte, don't expect much cheese. Their Menudo is one of my favorites. Their Picosito salsa is also tasty and spicy-- I like my farts to hurt.. You can buy it by the quart, and I often do. One thing to note is that they only accept cash. Also, there are some good specials a few days of the week.

Their food is definitely 5 stars, always fresh and good flavor. I've been coming here ever since they opened and the food has always been on point.
I always order takeout, there has been times where they forget to put stuff in my bag but they've always made up for it, nobody's perfect. The reason for the 3 stars is customer service over the phone 90% of the time sound a little rude so I would say in that field they need to improve a little. Other than that food is always on point nothing negative to say about that.
Overall chill spot to visit and enjoy some good Mexican food.
Little update, once again people answering the phones need to be trained a little better. I called in to place a phone order. Lady that answered the phone took my order and my name down and also specified if I knew I was calling the restaurant in Covina on grand, I said yes.
I get there about 10 mins after my phone ordered. I pay and lady at the register said phone order for *my name* to the cooks and the other waitress. Im standing there for another 10 or so minutes and go up to the counter and I ask the waitress if my phone order was ready.
She looked at me and had no idea what I was talking about, she asked for my name i have it to her, she asked if they were the right restaurant I had called I said yes. I told her I already even paid at the register for my food. She still had no idea what I was talking about. Finally she tells oh its right here they put the wrong name on the ticket!
I was like really wow! So my food was just sitting getting cold, so yes when I finally got my food it was cold. They didn't bother in admitting it was there mistake and we will ake your food again i got nothing. Eating cold fish tacos not so tasty little nasty. The customer service here overall need way better training all around from management.
When the food is hot and fresh it's good, when it's old and cold not so good.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. The Baja fish and the shrimp tacos were made to order. Dining room, windows and bathroom was very clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. Definitely coming back.A+++

The cashier was in a nasty mood everyone seemed pissy and dogging everyone the girl had a bad attitude even the cook look like he was in a nasty mood the chili rellenos that I got were really tiny and Soggy and there was no representation there was no egg on it it was gross super small no sauce on it no cheese nothing my drink was terrible completely watered down but that girl's attitude at the cash register set it all I will never be back don't waste your time or money terrible service customer service is terrible there no smiley faces definitely lacking customer service completely no wonder the place is empty
One of my favorite spots to grab a quick bite. I used to come here often because I lived across the street. I moved about 35 minutes away, but still stop by whenever I’m in the area.

The truth is that the food was very good. The only thing I didn't like about places is that you can't pay with a card. They have an ATM to withdraw money, It would be better if you could pay with a card. The customer service was phenomenal and the place was very clean. Thank you very much. 👍😎💳

Ordered 4 carne asada tacos. Before you put any salsa on the tacos, it’s important to try the quality of the meat. The meat was excellent. It had sort of a lemony kind of marinade flavor with pepper. It was so good and of course the salsa just was a compliment. Everything tastes fresh I will be back again.
