Ist time trying The Spot Teriyaki Burgers today and it's delicious I'll have to try more of there menu to up it too 5 stars but off to a good start today. Give alot on the both meat an chicken plate enough for 2 meals. 👍

First timer here, and I'm also a local. Let me just say this place was delicious. I prefer "The Spot" over Waba Grill for sure.
My wife and I were looking for a high protein / low carb meal for dinner to balance out our earlier meals of low protein and high carb, "The Spot" did not disappoint!
Protein packed lean beef on a bed of broccoli and cabbage that's perfect for boosting testosterone! Boom! Great spot for our current diet/training regimen.
The low calorie dinner made room for a treat, the soda drink.

Look the food is good. Really good, but their prices have skyrocketed and they now charge a "Misc Tax" that has nothing to do with your actual tax. Just expect to pay $10 in tax regardless. I've enjoyed the food here for many years, but this is going to be goodbye. There is no good reason to pay this much for something so basic as meat and rice.

Probably the best teriyaki place in Covina. Ive been coming here for about 10 years and there quality is always on point. I would most definitely consider this place to be far and away superior to golden bowl in Covina which seems to also have a large following. The reason for the four star review as opposed to a five is that there prices have flown up as of late. Your looking at a $30 bill for what is essentially two large plates of white rice with some chicken and beef. However I keep coming back so I digress.
The food was incredible, the staff were all polite, and there was plenty of parking as well.

The Spot is a top-tier teriyaki spot. I discovered this spot when I was working down the street. It just so happens to be about 10 minutes from my house. I will drive the 10 minutes whenever I'm feeling like teriyaki, though, because nothing else compares. The price is not bad for the quality and amount of food you get. I always call my order in and it's always ready by the time I get there. The service is always great too. I would highly recommend this place.

The food is good, but the portions vary depending on who's plating up. I have to say the food is tasty but too expensive. Everything is overpriced, and the service can be better . Try and get here before lunch and after lunch. Otherwise, it'll take a minute.
The food was good, but I miss the pineapple that they used to put in the teriyaki burger. In the past, when I used to walk in, I used to be greeted by the cashier, and she was so nice, but this time, the cashier was not the friendliest and we actually just came back for a quick visit since we moved up the hill and I think it's just not the same

The portions were bigger than I expected. The food was good. The checker was friendly. I took it to go and it was packaged well. The teriyaki was a little thin and lack luster. Mostly just sweet without much nuance. The chicken was a little dry.

I recently stumbled upon this teriyaki spot while driving down the freeway, and let me tell you, it was a delightful find! My wife was craving some teriyaki, so we did a quick search and decided to give this place a try.
We ordered the chicken teriyaki with rice and a beef and chicken teriyaki combo with rice. Both dishes were absolutely delicious! The portions were generous, and the flavor was spot on – savory, well-balanced, and simply mouth-watering.
Although the price was on the higher end, we felt it was well worth it for the quality and taste. We took our meals home and enjoyed every bite. This spot has definitely made it onto our list of favorites, and we plan to visit again soon.
If you’re in the mood for some top-notch teriyaki, I highly recommend giving this place a shot. You won’t be disappointed!

Food was very tasty. My reason for 4 stars is because of pricing. I dont understand how I ordered a small chicken bowl for like $9 bucks and my total came out to $15!? The man at the register asked if I wanted Avocado I said no. Then he asked if Onions are ok I said yes ( thinking onions automatically free went on the food) . I did not choose to tip. I thought my price included a drink. I did not get a receipt to review what my order was (my fault) . After receiving the order I asked for the drink. The guy said I did not order a drink. I was confused because all I got was a small chicken bowl no veggies the menu price said $9 I also saw that they charge a little more for grilled onions (which i did not get after he asked me if that was ok and I said yes). IDK WHAT HAPPEN. It was bugging me all day. I did not want to be a ":KAREN" because it was hot that day. I just did not like what seemed to be an up charge. May it was by accident. who knows. I'll probably just try it one more time and to ask for a receipt next time. Make sure to remind customers there is a fee for grilled onions and Avocado the way its asked is as if comes with it. Sorry . the price just did not sit well. Something went wrong. My fault for not catching the no receipt.
