This is a traditional sushi restaurant. Their fish is exceptional and the portion is very generous. I love the seared salmon and the mackerel. But you can't go wrong with any fish there. It's definitely a gem in Covina.

Absolutely love this Japanese sushi bar for many many years. Sushi always fresh, great quality & price. Teriyaki steak & dynamite lobster roll is delicious. Always get the spicy garlic edamame.

Small space, but big flavors! Doesn't try to be fancy, but the sushi was delicious! And the service was friendly and helpful. Great experience.

The atmosphere is fine—just another traditional, small sushi spot. We were served water promptly, but unfortunately, that was the only thing that went smoothly.

After sitting down for 10 minutes, no one came to take our order, despite the fact that there were three waitresses and it’s a small restaurant. Eventually, I went up to the cashier to place our order myself. Although I was frustrated, I remained understanding, having waited tables myself during my college years.

We then waited an additional 30 minutes, which seemed unusually long. I approached one of the waitresses, who told me that they hadn’t even started our order yet because they process orders on a first-come, first-served basis, and there were four takeout orders ahead of us.

While I respect that every business has its own way of managing things, it would have been appreciated if they had informed us ahead of time that there would be a long wait. We could have decided if we were willing to wait under those circumstances. After waiting 40 minutes, I was understandably upset.

Unfortunately, I never got to try the food, so I can’t comment on its quality, but based on the service, I would rate my experience as 0 out of 10. To make matters worse, the waitress argued that it wasn’t their fault because they were busy—yet I noticed that a party seated after us was already getting their food.

I won’t be returning to this restaurant. If you walk in and see that they are busy, I’d recommend avoiding it—you might end up waiting 40 minutes for food that hasn’t even been started.

I was excited about this place and wanting to go for a while. It was my first time. I ordered two dishes via my caregiver. He called in my order and picked it up. There were 10 mistakes so I was very surprised and confused when I saw my food.

He said he ordered my food correctly and that the lady on the phone didn't really understand him and he didn't clearly understand her either. So I'm giving the benefit of the doubt that there could have been misunderstandings, but not 10. The food was very different than what I ordered and it was his fault for not checking it over.

I almost felt like someone was pulling a prank on me or like I was on a hidden camera TV show. I couldn't call to complain or fix the order and he certainly couldn't go back because it was after 9pm. They were already closed. It also was not very close by.

I decided to eat the food anyway although very grossed out. I didn't want to starve, spend more money, or waste food. Well about 30 to 45 minutes later, I had explosive #3 in my pants and all over the bathroom. I'm so sick now. I took medication 3xs and I still feel awful. I won't return here ever again and now I have a mess to clean. Yes, I for sure got sick from this food because it's all I had for the day, besides simple water 12 hours prior.

Great place, reminds me of Japan. Very clean and very friendly staff. The Nigiri Sushi was great and very filling. The Miso was great and the actual tofu chunks were a great sight to see. Definitely a must try and if local I'd be a regular.Arigato Gosaimasu!
