Absolutely amazing, authentic Japanese food! You can tell the chefs take pride in their work. The sashimi practically melts in your mouth and the rolls are perfectly balanced. It’s a cozy, intimate spot—best to come early as it’s a popular place!

Went to Yashima today, it's been months since we've been here. Found out the are under new ownership, there's a new menu and some decor changes, but the food and service are still great. Hideo-san is still the sushi chef as well 😁 Would recommend going here if you're looking for some good Japanese food.

Lunch special, specifically the assorted sashimi and sushi is a rip off. $8 mark up for sushi and sashimi made by the chefs in the kitchen, not sushi bar. Cucumber roll, salmon, tamago, and tuna nigiri? I had to spit out the salmon nigiri. 2 pieces of salmon, tuna, and albacore sashimi? Not worth a $31 lunch special. I don’t want sushi that is prepped in the kitchen where chicken and pork are also prepped.
