Pubs in Crescent City

“In town for a wedding. Was wanting to find the bar where locals hang out. This is it! Aside from our group, almost everyone who walked in was greeted by name, by the bartenders and other patrons. Jacob was our bartender, and he was really cool. Very welcoming even though we were obviously not local.

Sometimes at bars that are popular with locals, they can be a little standoffish with outsiders. Not the case here. Before we finished our first beers we were making friends.

Speaking of the beer: theirs is fantastic, which explains all the awards hanging on their walls. Lots of other cool stuff on the walls, adding to the atmosphere.

We had a pizza, and it was exactly what I want when I’m having beers. Nice thicker crust, plenty of cheese, right amount of sauce.

We’re here for a few more days, and there’s a real good chance we’ll go back before we leave.“
