Hortencia's at the Cliffhanger

I honestly have not encountered a meal I have not enjoyed at Hortencia's. Every item I have tried from their menu is always delicious. My favorite meal is #14 Camarones ala diabla.

I recently dined at Hortencia’s and had an exceptional experience thanks to Carlos, our server. From the moment we walked in, Carlos was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. He had a thorough knowledge of the menu and offered excellent recommendations, making sure our meal was perfectly suited to our tastes. His service was prompt and friendly, and he checked in just the right amount without being intrusive. Carlos went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant and commend Carlos for his outstanding service.

This place offers a stunning view that really enhances the dining experience. The service was attentive and friendly, which added to the positive atmosphere. As for the food, it’s decent—nothing extraordinary, but still enjoyable. It’s a good spot, and I’d definitely come back for the ambiance and overall experience.”

We were right next to it all weekend and didn’t know about it. When we looked up dog friendly places it popped up. We took our lab and ate on the patio. Great food and service. The view is incredible.

First let me say I try not to dog out restaurants in small towns. I really wanted to support this business. The service was top notch, the view was incredible I was so excited to be there. We ordered margaritas they were huge I was like oh yeah! It's vacay mode. But they were just sweet mix. I mean that was the beginning of the downfall. Then we ordered taquitos they came out burnt so bad my kid couldn't even chew them. Then I got a carne asada burrito. The rice had no flavor and the burrito tasted the way dog food smells. I didn't eat it. My partner got a chile relleno the batter was so hard and rubbery in the middle. We ended up going to the market and buying a store pizza and bringing it home. Disappointed after paying 140 dollars for the dinner. The view is incredible have a beer and enjoy it but save your money on food. It is not it. Sorry.

The food was great, the staff was nice, just a little slow for having very little people in the restaurant, but the views were amazing!
