Wow the A. Opening again I hope the onion rings are the same along with every thing else..
So happy A Burger is back open! The price is with it, and everything on the menu meets all expectations, plus fresh tomatoes, lettuce, and meat! Way better than In-N-Out! My family loves everything weve gotten from here!
We parked next to the restaurant and there was a line at the window. So we went next door to have a drink but they weren’t open. Came back out and this lady grime the restaurant started yelling at us that she was going to tow our car. Needless to say, we did not eat there! Nice customer service!
Not always open., regular hours. Good hamburgers, good prices. Great onion rings, and their root beer floats great.
Going here is like pan-mining for gold. It's comedic with the Armenian woman in charge. Food is good enough.
Elizabeth has owned for over 35 yrs. "Best burger on the mountain."
wow this place is crazy. The lady that works there told my friend who was obese when he ordered a double cheese burger and fries she said "no i don't think so. Let's get you a salad" LOL So odd to hear that. but at least she was doing her best to help him live longer. and the salad was less expensive than the Combo. Very funny experience.
Liz is awesome! Yes she can be abrasive, but that is all part of the charm- obviously ... The locals here LOVE her, she is an icon. The burgers are great, my daughter (who doesn't eat burgers) even agrees & only eats theirs & occasionally a custom one made at home. REAL food and amazing prices, if you can't handle the authenticity then get the junk across the street 😉
Liz, the owner, comes across just like the soup n**** If you come prepared, you'll be fine. Don't curse in front of her, argue with her or waste her time, and she'll treat you fine. The food is isn't amazing, but has a classic drive-in feel (which fits this former A&W stand) and a hidden gem; Try the root beer shake to enjoy by the lake on a hot summer day. And always remember: Cash Only!
The owner, Liz, can come off as rude sometimes, but she means well! She is a really lovely person and a damn hard worker. Love the food here too, she cooks up some amazing burgers.
