went there tonight, I guess they were getting ready to close. the guy still seated us and served us prime rib dinner and salmon dinner. it was so good, and super friendly service. the cook was great, I had to have her brought out so I could thank her personally. got some great cakes to take home, and those were so tasty. I will definitely be going back to try more of there menu.
This is a quintessential American cafe. I popped in for breakfast. The cafe was busy but I got a seat straight away and the lovely waitress/owner was very attentive. The eggs and sausage were nice and hot and tasty and the coffee kept on being refilled. The banquette seats although full of character do really need recovering.

Absolutely get the chicken fried steak for breakfast. Covered in gravy, seasoned to perfection, crispy just the right way, HOT!! when served. Bacon, eggs, hashbrowns all cooked just as perfect as the chicken fried steak.
