I really liked this place. Great service, the food took a bit longer but it was worth, the prices are fsir. The view is awesome. The only bad thing is the parking lot, it has many holes and it's not pavemented. So it you have a lowered car, think about it twice
This is an old family seafood restaurant favorite of ours. We go there every other month, great food, reasonable seafood prices, and they pour a stiff drink. Recommend to call in for reservations to get a good table, but generally busy so expect to wait as a walk in. Awesome view of the Carquinez bridge and waterfront. Setback, the parking is smaller than previous years, so when busy parking sucks, and they are under staff so service suffers when they are busy. But worth trying an old Bay Area rustic restaurant of the past.
This is an older style restaurant and a bit rough entrance with railroad tracks crossing to walk across with good food and great views. We tried three dishes and they were all very good. The server was very attentive and we had a great time.
Stopped by this restaurant (Sat 3/10)on my way home from the city for the day . I had eaten there on a few occasions, sometimes with large groups of girlfriends. I liked the food and was looking forward to dinner. This time it was just two of us. They Sat us at a table close to the door. The location did not bother me but the longer I sat there it was just to cold to eat dinner comfortably So before we ordered I asked if we could move to one of the several other empty tables as I was cold. I was flat out told No ! No other options were presented to us. I told him if their were no other tables available then we would have to dine elsewhere. I was willing to wait an hour or so if the empty tables I was seeing were in fact spoken for via reservations. No just a flat out NO. I was shocked. Who doesn't offer customer service ? My answer is The Nantucket Restaurant.
Aging facility. Food very good. Wait staff pleasant and efficient. View is somewhat boring due to rusting and sinking boats. Would like to see a more upbeat view. Overall I was pleased with the experience.
Fresh seafood and great sandwiches
The fare seldom changes but that is why we go back, good consistent food, excellent drinks & delghtful view. Staff are really down to earth!
