Loved it. Thank you for a wonderful meal
Thanks for 18 amazing years! We came here on our 1st date almost 14 years ago, a year later to celebrate our 1st anniversary and many other times along the way. Every single time was fantastic!
Akasha, you will be very much missed! Much good luck in the future, with your ongoing catering business.
Amazing place where we have been for years. We heard they are closing today and are devastated. Please re-open soon! Charlotte was helping us for our last meal at Akasha. She was great! Thank you all and best wishes.
We have been going to AKASHA since they opened 18 years ago. Wonderful food, great atmosphere. So sorry they are closing.
We were lucky enough to get in for lunch for the Saturday before they closed. Per the usual, a great meal and great service. VERY sad to have AKASHA closing but know that any opportunity to eat at her table is a great time.
I've been coming here for years. Sad to see it end. I will miss wine Wednesdays and my favorite Cesar salad.
Great meal as always. Sorry to see Akasha close. So many good memories of good meals with friends and family.
I had been looking forward to coming to Akasha for ages, but I didn’t end up liking my experience here at all. As a brown person having grown up in SoCal, in addition to the current political climate and how it’s impacted LA, I often feel there is a subtext that certain neighborhoods and restaurants just don’t want me and my family around, and unfortunately, this was one of those places. I used to live here many years ago, back when I could afford it, but Culver City is deeply gentrified now, and things feel strange and different here. I had seen positive write-ups about this place, but I can’t say much was positive about my meal or experience here. The two individuals who brought us water and cleared our plates were lovely and kind, but everything else about coming here sucked. The server was bizarre, both cold and distant, not even allowing us to complete our orders, then suddenly overly friendly when he wanted us to leave. The orders didn’t come out right and were missing main ingredients. The food wasn’t great (this restaurant shouldn’t be offering huevos rancheros, honestly, take it off the menu, it’s an insult to the amazing Mexican cuisine in this city), and I got sick when I got home, which doesn’t happen too often, as I’m very careful with what I order at restaurants because I’m sensitive to certain ingredients. I wouldn’t ever willingly come back here.

We love Akasha; delicious food with many vegan options. Service is always great. Not too noisy and very accommodating in all ways.
Went for special holiday meal. Food was delicious. Probably the tastiest chopped chicken liver I've ever tasted. Fabulous brisket, potato pancakes, noodle kugel. Service was extremely good. The server helped make the evening fun. Terrific cocktails helped too. Will eagerly come back to the restaurant for brunch and dinner.
This wasn't our first time at Akasha, but it was a reminder to us of how good it is!! All the dishes were exceptional. The service was wonderful and we even made friends with the table sitting next to us! We are already planning our next visit!! Thank you :)
This spot is a true gem in Culver City and one of my absolute favorites for brunch, happy hour, or dinner with friends. They’re famous for their gluten-free options—seriously, the gluten-free onion rings are out of this world and even better than the regular kind.
One thing you must try is their amazing signature drink, the Akasha—so refreshing and delicious!
Another bonus? They make incredible frozen dishes you can take home. It’s a total lifesaver on busy nights when you don’t have time to cook. Instead of grabbing a bland microwave meal from the grocery store, I just heat up one of their pre-made dishes and it tastes like I’m dining out, right at home.
Between the welcoming staff, the diverse menu, and the beautiful landmark building, this place really has it all. Highly recommend!

Akasha is excellent. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. I'm a vegetarian and there are plenty of delicious options for me. This restaurant is also fantastic about supporting the local community.
