I guess you have to be desperate for coffee to come here. For all the Starbucks haters who complain about overpriced drinks, this is not the place for you unless you enjoy paying $6 for an Americano (not Venti either).Service is what you expect from a place like this which probably explains why they recently changed their “all-in, no tipping” policy.I also tried the Too Good To Go offer, but it seems like these guys are focused on profit rather than “goodness”. Whereas most other places would give you their 3 day old pastries for one price, these guys sell each one separately so that you can overpay for that stale pastry as well. I know they don’t care because obviously they’ve got a captive customer but if you’re not working in the area, it’s not a place to go out of your way to go to.

Tasty coffee with super cool vibe. The lulling sound by the roaster on-site is very comforting, but the caffeine just kicks in to keep me from falling asleep! Nice BLEACHER seats to prevent myself from slumber too lol

I love it here! They do something to the espresso (steam?) I’ve never seen done before and it tastes amazing, one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had in my life. Also, they eliminated tipping which is one of the main reasons I intend to keep coming back. I don’t mind paying a little extra for the coffee.EDIT: they still flip around the iPad and ask for a tip, after paying the inflating price for a plain coffee :( ($7)

I got a matcha and the barista poured it out of a bottle?? For $7.00??I pay less for someone to whisk up ceremonial grade matcha with traditional tools literally anywhere else. I can expect they don't use the best quality matcha powder to sit in a plastic squirt bottle. They also charged me $1 for a to-to glass with a lid, which was never explained.I can't attest to the coffee drinks, but there are no espresso machines and they also pour the coffee from refrigerated bottles to make the espresso based drinks on the menu. Do with that info as you please.Edit: the espresso concentrate is their thing apparently. 0 literature on the menu or explanation from the barista about this method of making coffee. Also doesn't explain why the matcha is pre-made.

Ordered, they served 5 freaking orders that came after me. I had to go up and ask the guy about why I was not served. He dared to ask me if I paid. Not going back, the question made me feel unwelcome and out of place to put it lightly. The Chai latte was pretty good I must attest. A bit pricy tooParking: On the street and a bit of walk depending when you arrive

Mediocre service, not fresh coffee (like I got a latte and they didn’t pull a shot?)Vibe of the barista was not itMinimalist space, coldCoffee was just okDidn’t tell us that it was $1 per for carry out glasses, we had to ask? And the plastic straw broke instantly. Paid $20 for 2 drinks and a snack & a barista that was rude but not in the fun way
Gem of a coffee shop.Industrial vibe and incredible, boutique coffee.Food is also delicious.Staff are knowledgeable and friendly.Possibly my favorite coffee spot in LA.

Great atmosphere. There’s limited seating but because of that, when you do get a table, it feels spacious. The baristas are highly knowledgeable and will make your drink in front of you. There are 3 different beans that you can choose from with different characteristics.Decently fast and consistent WiFi making it a solid spot to work as well.

I would not recommend this mediocre and overpriced coffee shop. They can’t make a pour over after 1:30pm for some confounding reason (it’s a coffee shop so I truly cant understand) nor can they do a fresh espresso, it’s reheated (presented as if that’s better for the environment). It’s not, it’s just bad coffee offered in a cool looking garage at an obscene price.
