This places hits above its class in more ways than one! The service is so above and beyond I’m not sure where to start. Come here early and let the guys at the counter guide you to some amazing options. They put together a topping plate that really made it a special meal, although not sure this is always available. The ricotta with honey, two different spicy peppers, and truffles all added to the experience. The pizzas were perfectly cooked, with fresh flavorful ingredients, and plenty of little things that set them apart for everyone else in the biz. Grab a pizza, head up to the rooftop, and enjoy with a beer or cocktail from Bar Bohemien- it’ll be a great night out!

Not only is the pizza great, but the owner really went above and beyond. Came upstairs multiple times to check on us, offered to add in season toppings, brought a whole plate of extravagant garnishes. He was really passionate about the food he makes and his customers’ experience enjoying it. We couldn’t have been more impressed. Also the group pizza is really big. 10/10 would eat here again. Make sure to leave him a big tip when your ordering because, trust me, he deserves it

I was in LA for business and stopped by here last night for a quick bite and glass of wine as it was close to my Airbnb and was pleasantly surprised! Phenomenal customer service and the food was delicious. Thank you!! I will be back next time I'm in town.

After spending nearly seven years in New York, I didn’t think I’d find a pizza place in LA that could come close to what I left behind. But Benevento LA has completely changed that. This has quickly become our go-to spot—so much so that it’s now a Sunday ritual after my son’s soccer practice.
The pizza is exceptional—crafted with high-quality ingredients, perfectly balanced flavors, and a crust that truly delivers. It’s clear that every pie is made with care and intention.
What really sets Benevento apart, though, is the people. The staff remembers our names, welcomes us like family, and makes each visit feel personal. That kind of hospitality is rare. The owner has created something really special here—channeling the spirit of a true New York pizza joint, but giving it the heart and warmth of LA.
If I could give more than five stars, I would. If you’re searching for top-tier pizza in LA with soul, heart, and authenticity, look no further than Benevento.

Really great pizza and super nice staff. Love the oily pepperoni cups and the option to add chili oil (definitely do it). They asked if we wanted to try a complimentary slice of another which was so nice, so we did the potato and ricotta. The crust was a little thicker on this, so didn’t like it as much as the pepperoni but we appreciated it nonetheless. He even asked if we wanted a side of prosciutto and he did a little drizzle of balsamic vinegar. Simple and friendly service like that is so hard to find these days, and we were glad we checked them out.

Best pizza in the USA. Chef Firas is a master of customer service and environment. The ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality. As a former resident of Brooklyn, New York this pizza not only IS New York pizza is competes with the pizza I have had in Rome, Italy. A must stop!

Listen. I am from Chicago - we are serious pizza snobs - and this is literally the BEST pizza in LA hands down! Firza, the owner, is always welcoming, nice and super down to earth. Not to mention, he always creates different types of pies on a weekly basis. I’m a regular I would know ;) Try to catch him outside on Sundays for his wood fired pizza - DELISH!!! 👌🏽🔥

This is hands-down the best New York style pizza in Los Angeles. Firas is a great dude, and he imports the flour and olive oil just to make his dough. He has the water temperature and everything down to a science, and it shows! Anytime somebody asks about pizza in LA, I always tell them to come here.

BEST PIZZA IN CULVER CITY! I had a phenomenally crispy and cheesy. You’d never expect this tiny counter-bar joint to serve such a fresh, thoughtfully created pizza. Each pizza is great for one person with some leftovers to take home. I’d go back anytime.
