We dined here a few months ago and had a very interesting and disappointing experience. The atmosphere is very cute. We first were offered sparkling, bottled, or tap water and we selected tap. Someone brought over sparkling and I said we ordered tap. Then we ordered some coffee and iced tea and a tomato bisque avocado toast. We were offered a basket of bread for an extra charge and we declined. Then he brought over the basket of bread! We said, no we didn't order this, and he seemed confused. Our food arrived promptly, but then a few minutes later, someone walked over with an entire Branzino which we said we did not order. It felt like they were trying to bring us items to make us pay more at the end. Finally we asked for the check and our check was NOT ours and was maybe 2-3x the cost of ours. The waiter apologized but it surely felt like he was trying to make more money off of us. In the end, the experience felt disappointing and I would say service is a huge part of a dining experience, and I don't typically expect much. The food was mid and I really don't feel like returning after that.

Bianca Bakery deserves all 5 stars! Hands down the best bakery in LA — everything is absolutely delicious. We sat at the bar, super casual, enjoyed a coffee and tried several pastries and they were all amazing. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the whole atmosphere feels cozy and relaxed. Highly recommend!

Feels weird to stand in line and have every customer behind you get served. I had been coming here semi regularly for weeks but maybe I don’t fit their preferred “type” of customer. I will never come back.

So-so food at mid-fine dining prices. So I would describe this is a wanna-be fine dining spot. It would be okay for date night if your partner is into cutesy details to take photos and post on Instagram. So I recommend for people who are okay with overspending for a wannabe fine dining spot that looks cool in photos.
For starts, the food was not good enough but I can let that go, and simply not come again expecting it to be great. The real problem was the charlatan waiter we got, who spoke to us in a fake Italian accent (he spoke to his fellow workers in perfect Spanish with a neutral accent, what is the need for a fake accent?) We asked for water, he brought us two $10 (each) Evian water bottles for which he was not upfront about, and when the restaurant offers complimentary tap water. Was he trained to do it this way or is he just trying to jack up the check for a fatter tip? He also offered us bread, which we thought would be complimentary since he offered, but it instead tacked on another $10 to our check for an appetizer we would not have ordered on our own. This took away our agency to order an appetizer of our own choosing. When we ordered pizza he was quick to suggest the add-ons, and when we asked for salad, he suggested the most expensive one. This fake accent charlatan ruined our afternoon. We will not be coming back.

How disappointing! I heard good things so I was so excited to go but had such bad service and such below par food that we will never go back. We bought two items to share each. One breakfast sandwich. It was grilled brioche which sounded yummy. It was cold bread (Not warm at all) and part of the bun was missing, as it fell off in the kitchen because it was stale. When the waiter finally checked back in, we told him the bread was stale. He never heard the word stale before? He said let me learn a new word. So we described the brioche as “old, hard, and dry”. He never said “sorry.” although upon cashing out he gave a small bag of free biscotti for our disappointment but the damage was already done. The other item sounded good on the menu: Warm assorted bread basket with butter and jam. What we received was also disappointing as it wasn’t assorted at all. It was the same bread with assorted sizes but the same bread. It was large bread which I also wasn’t expecting as I thought it would be a nice warm baguette and some other baked bread items. The waiter never offered or brought out water to us. I had to flag someone down to get a refill of my wife’s iced tea and get my first water. There are too many great restaurants in LA to go to a place that just doesn’t care. What a shame. $50 later for some bread and a sandwich that fell apart that we couldn’t normally eat, was completely unacceptable.

I’ve been in so many different restaurants In Los Angeles, and I thought this place gonna be the place, but NO ,my milanesa a caballo was super disappointed , no color , no crispness, no good look , just one egg and it should be a sunny side up and it looks like a boiled egg, I ask for a replacement and they said I should pay for it , it wasn’t about money but it was the worse answer from the waiter

For an expensive coffee, I was disappointed in the quality. Super grainy mocha. Had to dump it out and try to strain it because it was unpleasant to drink. Pastries are ok.

Not sure if this place is trying to be french, italian or maybe austrian, but they miss on all three marks. The location doesn’t help much either, it’s tough trying to make this atmosphere work in a strange new-ish area of culver city that doesn’t know what it wants to be either. We missed the breakfast menu by less than 10 minutes and I knew there was no way this place would be flexible even though I saw dishes I wanted to order still coming out of the kitchen, it was a bummer but we soldiered on. The service is fine but uptight just like most of the crowd in there, stuffy and either nouveau riche or pretending to be. I’d skip the sit in and opt for grabbing a few pretty looking pastry pieces and a coffee to go. Heard good things about the sando window service once a week, hope to try it out sometime, that’s the only reason I’ll be back here on purpose. All though it does sound like a bad episode of “The Bear” so maybe mot.

Breakfast at Bianca was very, very good Eggs Benedict with prosciutto -- my wife's choice -- or smoked salmon -- mine -- were fabulous. My Bloody Mary was first rate, as was my Cappucino. The pastries were beautiful and -- judging from my granddaughter's reaction -- every but as tasty as they looked. My son's crepe stuffed with Nutella was great, he said, and my daughter-in-law looked very pleased with her berries and granola topped with honey. The service was unobtrusive, but crisp and the servers pleasant. The decor was consistent with the food and service, which made for a great experience.
