Excellent egg restaurant. A great variety of choices. Presentation definitely matters. The food is crafted and designed to look delicious. The theming is very spot on too. Condiments, plates, store, atmosphere all lend to the feel. Can't really go wrong with any choice here.Odd thing I noticed is practically every dish was chipped. Not sure if that was part of the theme (cracked egg), but if unintentional, its smart.Parking: Definitely tough to find parking at peak. Recommend the garage behind it.

Just went to try this place after driving by it for months. Read the reviews, good and bad, and decided that I need to try this place myself.Firstly the staff here were very friendly but they weren't very busy. We were seated immediately and shortly thereafter one of the wait staff to out orders. I was everywhere extremely hungry due to fasting the day before... Don't ask... Lol. I preferred the shrimp and grits as well as the brussel sprout potatoes.The shrimp and grits were delicious! The shrimp was cooked perfectly and had just the right amount of spice and heat to balance the grits. The grits themselves had a great texture and there was a liberal sprinkling of whole corn kernels on top for more texture and sweetness. The three over medium eggs were superfluous but added another taste to the mix.The brussel sprout potatoes were pretty good but I don't think the vegetable and potato melted well together. It was very tasty but the potato texture didn't really go with the crunch and firmness of the sprouts. Having said this I would probably get it again.My wife got the vegan breakfast burrito that was huge and delicious per her account. She was only able to finish half of it and we took the rest back home for later.I will definitely be going back to this great place to try their other dishes!

Delicious food with lots of vegan options. Veggie and Pesto Frittata was tasty and light. Soooo yummy. We got the french toast flight (Mr. Presley, banana brulee, smores) and it was....AMAZING. It was sizable but I bet I could've finished it myself if I didn't get another entree. I got the mushrooms & pesto eggs Benedict, also great: lots of flavor and the side potatoes were extra crispy without being greasy. My friend didn't like his bloody mary though, it was too spicy.

I want to start this review off with the fact that I love Breakfast Republic as a chain. I found them in Irvine, CA, and the food, service, and atmosphere were great. This review is specifically for the Culver City location, which is beyond subpar of my expectations for Breakfast Republic. I've gone here 3 times and ordered once, and every time it has been mid. Ive always held out hope that one day this location will be better, but this is the last time I'll get food here. The food is mildly cold and swimming in oil. The Cafe de Olla has little to not flavor. It tastes as if it were normal coffee sitting right next to a batch of Cafe de Olla and the aromas wafted over the normal coffee. There's typically a long wait time. There have been a few times where I've tried to get a table but have been turned away because the kitchen was too backed up to take on more guests. I know the neighborhood has been super excited for this location, so I can't blame the restaurant for the demand, but I think guests can try to hold management accountable for what seems like the response, or lack thereof, to the demand. However, even on days where I've walked in and gotten a table with zero wait, service had been subpar. On one occasion I dined in, there wasn't a lot of people dining in, yet I had to ask multiple times for a refill on coffee/water. I eventually had to go to the bar to ask the server there for a refill because my server kept forgetting. Today, I order breakfast online and was very disappointed. All of the options on my orders were missing or wrong: my partner asked for house ketchup and it wasn't included. I asked for hot sauce and my meal was missing it. I asked for a splash of half and half in my Cafe de Olla and it was missing. I asked for wheat toast and I got stale white bread. The cheese on my meal wasn't even melted. All of these point to a kitchen that was rushing to get food out and not taking the time to make sure the order was correct. Thankfully none of the requests cost extra, but the monetary value shouldn't affect the outcome of the order. I hope one day this spot will be better, but until then I guess I have to wait until I'm in Irvine to get some Breakfast Republic.

We love this spot!! Such a fun concept with breakfast cocktails, coffees, and giant plates! The value is incredible. The staff is very attentive and you can tell the team gets along and has fun at work. Overall love the vibe of this place!

I truly enjoyed a family breakfast at this place. The food was great, the waiter was very friendly and gave us great suggestions. The food was served promptly. One thing I would improve is to make sure that you follow through on special requests because I requested an additional plate twice, and it wasn't until I stopped a busboy and asked for it a third time. This was a small incident and we will continue to visit them.
Sat at the counter, and got instant and helpful service. I definitely over-ordered, but it was totally worth it. Glad I randomly stopped in.

The location in Long Beach is GREAT! The place is small but has powerful food. The food is delicious. They have a vegan menu and I tasty. I have tried the burrito and frittata vegan plant based eggs. The waiters are helpful and nice. Great place to have a meal. No complaints about this restaurant. Go enjoy!!!!!

Tried this place out after seeing it looked pretty popular on the outside. Unfortunately, the food was nothing to rave about and didn't look extra appetizing. First bite was cold, and the potatoes had no crunch or flavor, sadly. The staff were nice enough to replace the dish with a hot one, but the service in general was very slow and we had to wait quite a while for someone to check on us. These things happen, so while we weren't crazy about it, we chalked it up to the staff being busy that day. But after having our bill be corrected for some accidental overcharges, we noticed the new bill had a 4% surcharge at the bottom. When we asked what it was for, the staff were unable to explain it and said they did not know what it was for and could not take it off the bill. It definitely did not feel right to have to pay for something no one could explain...

This is a great place for breakfast in Culver City...We often go there and bring our dog. They have two patios, really great and reasonably priced food, and an incredible staff. Cadem, Dorian and Ernesto are particularly hospitable...Always glad to see us and our Shepard "Buddy."
