We've been here before and the food was awesome and the drinks were good. I'm assuming since the weather has been bad, they completely removed a lot of good items from the menu. Please check the menu before making reservations because there isn't a lot to choose from. Came with our daughter and only ordered the fries and gauc. It was okay... maybe it's turned into a place for just drinks and cool ambiance, don't come hungry. Also the chillcicle wasn't how it used to taste, honestly tasted like tequila mixed with a lemon sour... nothing to write home about unfortunately.

Food options are extremely limited and even though their website said they served brunch on the weekends they don't. Food was ok once we got it. While the servers were very nice, service was extremely slow and they were inattentive. We sat at the table for a while before anyone came to take our order/pay. Ambiance was good and the rooftop is beautiful though.

The food was delicious especially the guacamole and seasoned chips. We had the black kale salad, one with chicken and one with salmon as well as the hamachi...everything was delicious. The service was excellent.

Not sure why I was offered a 6 pm dining reservation when the kitchen basically closed at 6 pm! Staff was friendly and accommodating but if the kitchen closes at 6 pm, reservations for dinner shouldn't be offered for that time!

Our server William was outstanding! First time dining at Canopy LA and the experience was friendly, beautiful, positive and fun. Celebrated my boyfriend's birthday here and we will definitely be back. A special and warm thank you to our server for making our experience memorable and engaging. We can't wait to experience summer memories at Canopy LA. Thank you for the memory.

If you’re in Culver City, this is where you want to be. Stayed at the Shay from Dec 21 -27. The staff is an example of excellent hospitality. Most of my time was spent on the rooftop at the Canopy Club. My family joined for drinks and food. The Palm Springs decor sets the relax mood. Full bar, heated pool, fireplace, lots of seating areas, heat lamps and fire pit. Great views.Food suggestions: hamburger, pancakes and sautéed kale.Paid parking lotValet parkingVegetarian options: Kale and salads

We went on a very busy day so the service was slow the drinks were amazing and so was the food! wanted to order the steak but they ran out :( instead, we had the cheeseburger which was one of the best burgers I have ever had so I was not disappointed at all

Came here last night (Saturday) around 8p. Was seated right away as it wasn't crowded at all. Super cute rooftop pool area with beautiful ambiance and great background music playing. There's a bar with 1 TV, lots of heat lamps and fireplaces so it's nice and cozy. Friendly attentive service too. Some of the items weren't on the menu anymore that I saw on #yelp. But what we had was good:Crispy Fish Tacos - 3 tasty tacos that were fillingCC Burger - perfectly cooked with good flavorRosemary Fries - crispy fresh and yummyWished they had more on the menu or perhaps had breakfast all day as well since there's not a lot to options to choose from. But... Would definitely come back.

Let's start with the ambiance and decor, super cute! Then Rachel (thee best hostess), graced us with her presence. She read the notes and acknowledged my sister's birthday. Recommended the perfect drinks and just provided exceptional service! Matter of fact, I'm going to call and share this with the manager.

We ordered the rosemary fries with avocado dip as an appetizer. The fries were very good, I'm not sure if they were worth the price. We also ordered the fish tacos which were pretty good, but not fantastic. The burger overall was very satisfying & I ordered a Banana cocktail which I was definitely recommend. Its a beautiful restaurant, I think it may be more for cocktails and light get togethers. I think our servers name was Kevin, and he was very pleasant. I'll give this place 3.5 stars because the food was pretty good but not great. The pool & atmosphere seemed to be more of the standout then menu items themselves. Menu items sell restaurants not decor, and it was a small menu. I would recommend for a light lunch or drinks & happy hour.

I had a wonderful time at Canopy club for happy hour! It truly felt like being transported into a tropical paradise & I thought the food was delicious (try the calamari!!) and tasted so fresh and the views were stunning. I only wish our server had been a tad bit more attentive and the bartender had more knowledge of drinks (asked for a rum punch and they seemed confused). Overall a great experience and would come here again

Wonderful food and service but bit pricey (isn't everything!?). However, portions are large so it's totally shareable. I was surprised it was so empty given the location but really enjoyed it and will be back!

Canopy Club is the rooftop restaurant for The Shay hotel in Ivy Station in Culver City. We were easily able to get a reservation on OpenTable, and they have both covered-yet-open indoor table seating and outside poolside lounge seats. It’s a really cool vibe if you’re looking for a rooftop closer than WeHo, and it’s a great place to go with a group of friends. I personally was obsessed with vibe from the wallpaper and plants. If you aren’t taking Uber/Lyft, you can either valet or look around Ivy Station for street or lot parking. For an appetizer from their all day menu, I strongly recommend starting with the Hamachi Crudo ($23)with citrus dashi, guajillo-sesame, and sliced chives. The sauce on top is flavorful and has a good kick, and the fish was a perfect texture. For our Entrée we went with a dish from the Evening Specials menu that’s available starting at 4pm, the Heritage Pork Chop ($32) with nduja butter, charred late harvest stone fruit, and watercress. It was flavorful and delicious, but be aware that the pork is very fatty. For dessert we felt like we’ve had better tiramisu, but it wasn’t bad. I did love that they had a non-alcoholic section, so I went with the Kimino Yuzu Juice for $7.
