personally, i’m obsessed with there matcha it is so good and i never had an issues with the people who work there till now. this is probably my 5th time going there’s to get a matcha and today i had the rudest interaction with one of the workers. i asked him for an iced matcha and he started making a hot matcha. when i saw he was about to stream the matcha i stopped him mid way through and said it was actually iced. he got very upset at this even though i said it was iced in the first place. then he began to say “just to let you know our default is a hot matcha” when i literally. said. ice. when i was ordering. so sad cause i truly love the quality of the matcha but definitely not going back if there gonna down talk to there costumers. very embarrassing in there behalf

such excellent coffee!! had a delicious cappuccino here — perfect foam and nice flavor espresso.
barista was nice and it’s very home-y neighborhood vibes. lowkey.
Wheelchair accessibility: has a slight ramp up once you enter through the door, no stair/step elevation/bumps so it’s possible to use a wheelchair!

Went there for pastries. Quite disappointed. The chocolate croissant was $6 but only had a very tiny bit of chocolate… overpriced… the latte was ok. I wouldn’t recommend their pastries. Would come back for their coffee.

As a local of the community it is a shame that I can not simply go into a cafe to do my work without the employees interrogating me, seeing if I’m going to buy something, hovering around me when I’m simply minding my business and not causing any sort of disturbance. One of the older white man that works there had a very pointed attitude with me and seemed to be prejudice towards me as a black woman. Very very very very unfortunate.
Walked in and the white haired gentleman who seemed to run the place was engaged in a conversation with another customer. After politely waiting for about 5 minutes, he finally came over to the register to begrudgingly ask what I wanted to order like I was bothering him in his own living room or something. Asked for a pour over and he responded that it takes 15 minutes and I should just get the drip as it was good enough. I don’t think I’ve met a ruder coffee shop employee in the dozens of coffee shops I’ve visited around the world. It takes a lot for me to write a negative review. He refused to make a pour over, so I can’t rate that.

Cute atmosphere. Outdoor and indoor seating. Coffee was great - had a flat white that was creamy and a little fruity. The barista was also super nice.

Good coffee and the guy is clearly a coffee person as he knew the Australian coffee names.

Coffee and food are great, hours are convenient and it’s actually right on my way to work, but I don’t ever plan on going there again. The older guy with long-ish hair who somehow seems to work every single hour this place is open is so incredibly unpleasant that every time I step foot in this coffee shop I’m reminded why it has been months since I last visited. Not sure why this guy still works there as I have heard from many other people that they’ve had a similar experience and in talking to baristas at other coffee shops, the guy is notorious in the LA coffee scene for being a jerk. There are also tons of reviews for this shop about how awful the guy is.
Bummer that this one guy ruins an otherwise great coffee shop.

The Baristas are great here, the espresso drinks top notch and they have great flavors that they make in shop, as well as a good chai and matcha! The croissant are the best in the city and the other baked goods are really good as well. Indoor and outdoor seating. They carry many roasters coffee beans as well as their own roasts.
