It's tough to go wrong with a meal at Dear John's; every steakhouse classic is exceptionally well executed. The service is top notch, and the ambiance is exactly what you'd expect. It's a bit loud and a little dim for seeing the menus but that's all part of the package. Every time I come I get almost the same thing. Loved our meal at Dear John's. Excellent NY steak. Great drinks. It was a Saturday night and was a bit loud but I wouldn't say that made our experience any less amazing. Can't wait to go back.
Dear John's is unassuming. Yet, it is my favorite steakhouse in L.A. My perfect meal is a ribeye , 2 martinis and either a wedge or the oysters. The food is amazing. The wait staff are knowledgeable and friendly. This is my go to place
