Definitely a 3 stars! Order a super burrito and unfortunately they gave us a side or gone bad avocado. Plus the Caldo de res super salty. I just feel like the authentic mexican food is no longer there! Of course there are other plates that still love to eat next time I come back Im ordering my usual.

This is a great little place, it's been open for a long time. I been eating here since I was a kid, my dad used to bring me and my brothers. The carnitas tacos are great, except they change the cheddar cheese to the white cheese. Tacos taste good but not like they used to taste. There is limited parking, the restaurant is very clean.

4 out of a party of 8 ordered the chile relleno plate. We ALL agreed it was not good. The chile barley had filling and the outer coat was the worst part. We literally left full plates. So disappointing….

I was looking for menudo, turned out they only serve at the weekend. The price is not too bad for a set of plate, the carnitas perfectly soaked in the tomato juice is very tender. Some worker were having lunch there, some family gathering, the waiter is very welcoming.

I've been going there for years and the food is excellent. The dining experience has changed a little since the pandemic, they no longer have a salsa ba, cafeteria style ordering, or drink refills (not even for a charge) but that's the only change. The portions are huge and they give you a lot of meat.

If you want traditional chile verde, don't order it here. Instead of the green chile sauce, it was red. I thought they had messed up and given me chile colorado but the meat was pork chunks. The taste was okay but I would have preferred the green sauce.

Strike Three! Three Stars! Every time I've eaten here the food is either bland and salty. The Jamica tasted like chlorine tap water. I grew up in the area and always heard good things about this place. However after trying it out three times I give it 3 stars. The glowing reviews might be from Nostalgia from an earlier time. In California there's really no reason to come here given the great amount of other Mexican places. I'm sorry maybe this place fell off a cliff after Covid. They better shape up fast

Well I have been going to the restaurant since I was in my mom’s belly. I am 54 years old and I am still earrings here. I always get the Taquito but it’s actually a taco filled to the top with carnitas cheese and a sliced avocado and believe me they are Delicious

Massive burritos and combo plates served old-school cafeteria style. The carnitas are crispy on the edges and juicy inside. Salsa bar is simple but solid. There’s a big parking lot and plenty of seating. Feels like a neighborhood ritual more than a restaurant.
