Food tastes great! Portions are small and the food is too expensive. I fear they will eventually close down unless they fix that problem.

Good sandwiches, but very slow service and expensive! And they were out of several items/ meat choices.

The people here are always very friendly! I got the Mustang sandwich and it was delicious. Came with pickles and a small cookie. Just what I needed. Excited to explore the rest of the menu. Highly recommend!

Great food and excellent customer service. Everything was fresh and delicious. I had a veggie sandwich and it was crisp the way fresh vegetables should be. There was a large selection of drinks in the cooler, sodas, teas, juices, milk. Also had snacks. Will come

Went here during lunch hour and got a 313 pressed melt. The sandwich was pretty decent, and came with pickle and cookie. While it was decent, the portion size was small. They also sell cold sandwiches, salads, and other specialty snacks. The customers had to bus their own tables so it wasn't the cleanest. Not my favorite on the block. The service was good though, the person who helped me was chirpy!

Literally A1 sandwich! But I'm paying top dollar for 3 slices of brisket!?Double the meat! Feed me when I'm paying $21 for the sandwich. THE SANDWICH WAS AMAZING!!! Stop the cheap and put on more meat! You're brilliant!I don't want a cookie! I want MORE BRISKET IN MY SANDWICH!Deliciously made!

I was very disappointed with the quality & taste of the sandwich I ordered. The bread was spongy and there was barely any Turkey all for $19. I can't believe I spent that on just a sandwich alone. You would have thought it was some gourmet meal with chips and a drink, nope. Do yourself a favor and do not go here!

The people who work here, and the owner are genuinely some of the most friendly people ever. They always have a nice tidy place, and I come in every now and then when I want a snack. It’s not dangerous at all like the 711 down the street from it. It is a very pleasant place.

Stumbled upon this place while coming back to the Eastside...the gentlemen behind the counter were extremely friendly and helpful in my sandwich selections. The place is nice and clean and has an old school market or deli-vibe. We went with the Detroiter and the Reuben and omg am I glad we stopped. Sandwiches were on point...not too salty and not bland. Many thanks to the 2 fellas behind the counter, keep up the good work!

Great food, but even better people working there! The food delivery app driver mistakenly forgot part of my order. When I called Motor City Deli, one of their guys came and dropped off the food within minutes of the call. They could made an excuse or refunded the order, but they wanted to make it right. These folks respect and care about your business!!P.S. The Texan Sandwich is BOMB!!

I get the Stryker and Klein pressed sandwich every week. Before that it was the Detroiter. The sandwiches here with the in house smoked meats are legit. Its the kind of food you can use impress friends. Theres beers and a few wines but I go before noon on the weekdays while I'm at work so I haven't had the chance to have the sandwich with a cold one. But if you're in the area and can enjoy both. Highly recommended.

I will try this place again, but the Brooklyn had a very rationed portion of pastrami and the turkey sandwich was really basic. The dressing was to thick. No drinks or sides…$38.
