i had a very bizarre experience there that i think is worth sharing. i came in and the barista told me someone else would help me. i'm standing at the counter reviewing the menu. the tip jar was on top of the menu and i shfted it to the side while looking at the menu. i had headphones in so when a different barista - she looked latina - spoke to me, i looked up assuming that she was going to take my order. no, she actually made some weird comment like 'that's our tip jar' and i realized she was implying that i was trying to steal out of it. eventually someone took my order and - quel choc - i actually left a tip. the coffee is pretty decent here and every other person i interacted with was nice, but the baristas need more training. someone perusing a menu is not trying to steal from you and if it's that big of a concern, tape it to the counter.
This place is amazing and everyone here is so friendly. The food is delicious, I’ve gotten the breakfast burrito ( it’s pretty big and shareable) and I’ve gotten the Farmers breakfast here as well. For drinks the matcha, and their seasonal almond pride and joy is good. I highly recommend this place! Wish they had one in Downtown LA!

Perfectly located at the center of the busy office areas and amidst multiple apartment buildings, Equator occupied a very ideal spot to attract the crowd. Being a first timer might make it bit tricky to find though as it's kinda invisible by the road side.
They did provide very spacious sitting areas, accommodating the needs of the guests who might mostly be employees working nearby or students. The outdoor patio was an extra win for sure!
If you planned to come later in the day, just be mindful that they might run out of most pastries already but worry not about the drinks. I was quite lucky getting the last pieces of their Pain Au Choc and Almond Financier, which were both decent, served warm as the barista offered to reheat them before serving :)
Got their Iced Maple Walnut Latte and Hot Vanilla Latte. The prior was more unique as I couldn't recall having such flavor before and it turned out pretty nice especially for Maple syrup lover. My Vanilla Latte was enjoyable despite unfortunately more like room temp than hot.

The food and atmosphere were good, but the service was disappointing. The cashier/server was quite rude and came across as if she didn’t want to be there. I asked to dine in, but my food was served in a to-go box. When I requested a plate, she seemed visibly annoyed. It took away from the overall experience.

First time there, tried something different for a change and I was delighted. I will definitely stop in again. The service is impeccable and the person who waited on us was born for this! Kudos!

I just had the best frittata sandwich here with cheddar, avocado, fresh sourdough and spicy mayo. I wasn't expecting a lot, but it was amazing. Staff was friendly, and parking is easy underneath the building where they validate for 2 hours.

A very clean and popular coffee shop that is tucked out of the way and that is next to other businesses. It is always busy with people sitting and working on their laptops.Great coffee and a good variety of tasty snacks and healthy breakfast items.

Walked in with someone and we stood at the counter together. She placed an order for one coffee, and the staff immediately walked away to prepare it — without taking my order, even though I was standing right next to her. Not a glance, not a word. I was just left standing there, completely ignored.
It felt rude, humiliating, and unprofessional — especially in a nearly empty café. I won’t be coming back.

Nestled in a large courtyard in Culver City, this hidden gem is well worth finding parking for. Yummy food and great drinks!

We tried this place recently as it was close to our hotel. I ordered an iced mocha with almond milk. It was a nice pick-me-up to start the day. Seemed like the prices were better than some of the bigger chains. $6 for a larger sized specialty coffee.

Cute little place, with good food and coffee, great tiny beer and wine selection. Shout out to Chloe who we met after the last Screenland 5k. You're awesome!

Please fix your WiFi. Coffee and food is great BUT WiFi doesn’t work or extremely slow. Even cell service doesn’t work well inside of the coffee shop.
