I went in for breakfast on the morning of my first day in Los Angeles. The atmosphere is good and the prices are reasonable.Staying at The Shay will help you feel relieved from the high prices of living (lol)

Stopped by here w/ bike out doing errands It looks very corporate,it is. Service was efficient but not overly friendly, like I expect at corp.cafe There's this muffin: the employee was trying to describe it , & it didn't make sense. It was a corn with sweet flavor, it was difficult to determine.it was ok, but I wouldn't order again. The latte was good & smooth 16 oz. I like it served in the big mug, nice touch.

Solidly four stars. Wish the hours were a bit better since it's next to the metro, but given that it's in the midst of several office buildings totally understand. I always get the habibi latte although it's not as strongly flavored as I wish it would be! Easily accessed by expo line, or can park in ivy lot.

Came to Equator for the first time to do some remote work and ordered the iced vanilla latte with oat milk. My drink was good. The first few sips, I thought the latte had a duller taste than I was used to, but after mixing it a little more, I got more flavor. Service was also good and fast. I think overall the interior of the cafe is very nice to do work or meet with people. But if you're looking to do work, make sure you charge your things ahead of time as there are limited outlets.

The service was wonderful! However it was tricky to find the location. My sister and I both didn't really like our drinks. My matcha was very milky and overly sweet. I ordered a lavender matcha latte. There is ample seating and a nice patio / outdoor area. Good place to work!

Food - Ordered a Prosciutto Panini and that was pretty good. Since the prosciutto got cooked a little it really was more like a bacon panini. Still very delicious. Also ordered a Iced Vanilla Latte and that was pretty good. I think I was more impressed with how visually pleasing the ice cubs are. Service - Very friendly staff. Ambiance - It's a vibe and a place I could see myself working out of Equator if I lived in the area. They do validate parking for the structure for 2hrs which is nice since parking in that part of Culver City is just a nightmare.

I used to live near an Ecuator location in the Bay Area and was pleased to find one in LA! I had a chicken flatbread sandwich and a maple walnut latte, both of which were perfect for a late autumn midday treat. I’ll definitely continue visiting when I’m on this side of town!

I asked for a Machiato. The coffee was too acidic and the barista did not use the right proportions of foam/ steamed milk in the preparation. In addition I was charged $ 1.72 tip without notice. Beware, when using a credit card of unknown charges ( i.e. tips, etc) ask before buying if there is any other charges other than the ones you see in their menu.Parking is expensive without validation. ( $2.00/ 15 minutes)

Yuck their Matcha latte tastes like cheap low quality sweetener, even Starbucks isn’t as bad. Go anywhere else for this.

Equator is a solid coffee shop! They have a great selection of drinks and an extensive breakfast and lunch menu, which is a nice touch for a coffee shop. I frequent Equator a lot before work and LOVE their banana and date toast and can't wait to get through the rest of their breakfast menu. Their guava and cheese empanada is also AMAZING- make sure to get it warmed! I also tried their iced strawberry matcha with almond milk, which was admittedly pretty watery and unimpressive. I've also tried their prosciutto panini, which was pretty good but the meat was kind of salty, so I doubt I'll get it again. However, I do appreciate that all of their food is freshly made and served warm, and that their employees are always super kind. Equator is also a great place to get work done- it has great natural lighting and many seating options, making it a nice escape from the office!

I came to visit Equator Coffee after spending time in one of the Northern California locations. Wow. Just wow. The food is amazing, the drinks are to die for, and the employees are the best part. I don't live close by but I will definitely be coming back for another delicious turkey panini! Special shout out to Phoebe and Daria. They were very welcoming and grave great food suggestions. :)

Fairly sleek coffee spot at lovely Ivy Station. Could look better but it's got some nice woods and a pretty, red La Marzocco espresso machine. My friend adored her Habibi Latte. My cold brew was unremarkable but it could have been the oat milk they use... Minor Figures..which I hate because it's bitter. All in all, a nice experience, though!

Visited Equator Coffees for the first time today to do some remote work while waiting for a lunch meeting nearby. I tried the Habibi Latte: Orange Blossom Water, Cardamom, Clove, Vanilla Syrup, Espresso and Milk, hot and in a mug to enjoy in-shop. It was delightfully frothy and very refreshing. The staff was very friendly and offered helpful suggestions to narrow down my beverage choice. There are lots of tables to work and they have free wifi. Big windows throughout let lots of light in and offer nice views outside to a grassy space. They have music playing but it's not too loud. Generally it has been lightly occupied although there was a rush mid-morning where things got a little boisterous. Will definitely be back to enjoy again--looking forward to trying their food items
