Fish and Bowl is a cozy, clean, and uniquely amazing gem offering a variety of different Japanese dishes, with something for everyone. The star of the place is undoubtedly the Hainan Chicken Rice, also called Thai chicken rice. This dish is legit, with fragrant and delicious rice and perfectly cooked steamed chicken. You can also have the chicken fried, or a combination of half steamed and half fried. The fried chicken batter is crispy, light, and seasoned just right, with crispy skin and tender, juicy meat. It comes with three delicious sauces: an irresistible ginger sauce, a spicy soy sauce, and a sweet one for the fried chicken, which all pair extremely well with the dish.

The menu also features great sushi, including the Fish and Bowl special Roll and the spicy tuna crispy rice, which are very good. Other solid options include two types of Udon, an Unagi bowl, various sushi rolls, a chicken karaage bowl, and the katsu curry. The shishito peppers come highly recommended. The food is delicious and the price is super affordable compared to other places in the area for this quality. The service is good and friendly. The ambience is cozy with a few small tables and is cutely decorated. There is a small parking lot and some street parking available.
