Honestly, the best burger in town. Juicy, char grilled taste, filling and seasoned so darn well. Fricken love it. Plus, you get good friendly attentive service in a steakhouse environment. The cheeseburger is now $21 and to upgrade to a baked potato is an extra $3. BF got his baked tater fully loaded and it was an extra $4 for a bacon (worth it, so smoky and generous portion!). Total for two burgers + tax and tip was $68 tho. Again, so good but not a place I can go on the regular, but you will not be disappointed.

I had the filet mignon for the first time. It was so tender and cooked perfectly! I usually get the cowboy steak, but have found my new favorite. And the service was great as always!

The first thing is that this place is nice and quiet. The service is very good. The dining area was very clean and well lit. Our bus person was very attentive. Our server was very polite, and kind. Food timing was incredible. We ordered soup and salad for starters, salad very fresh and soup was excellent ( French onion ) As we finished the entree. Our main course was served. Gentle banter with server Cocktails we very refreshing. No fast food here. Great , relaxing time.

I have been frequenting this restaurant for 61 years. Of course, they were across the street back when. My brother and I used to play in the meat locker there. My grandfather was friends with Mr. Petrelli, upto the day he was killed. I remember the bartender, I believe his name George. The best Shirley Temples. I digress. Anyway we love the food here and the service. The only thing I have seen as a detriment over the years is the fact that LA county has allowed homeless people to enter the establishment, thus IMO has forced the hour changes. I used to love going there for lunch. Anyway, if you have chance to discover their great food at reasonable prices, do it.Mike

Food was delicious, the service was good but the atmosphere was no so great it used to be a nice place to dress up now anyone with a hoody can go in and on top of that the place it's looking too old and not in a good way .
