My sister and I came here to celebrate my mom’s birthday and were amazed by the service and food! If you’re ever in the Culver City area and looking for a nice, cozy brunch spot Grand Casino Bakery & Cafe is the place! It was our first time trying Argentinian food. We loved the atmosphere and the servers were respectful, attentive, and welcoming.
I recommend the crepes or the delicious steak with eggs!! With a side of matcha latte or hot coco. ☕️

I stopped by Grand Casino in Culver City for happy hour and ordered a Stella Artois along with a pizza slice from the $5 happy hour menu. The beer came out quickly and was fine.
The pizza, however, was a letdown. What I was served barely resembled a pizza slice and was only lukewarm. After cutting into it and taking a bite, it tasted undercooked. It also appeared as if marinara sauce had been added after it came out of the oven instead of being baked properly. See photo.
I politely told the staff that I was unhappy with the food. There was no apology, no offer to remake it and no refund offered. The server was very nonchalant and didn’t seem concerned. I remained calm and didn’t make a scene, but the lack of basic customer service was disappointing.
Happy hour should be an easy win. Unfortunately, this experience wasn’t.

Grand Casino has always been one of my favorite restaurants to come and eat, the fact there's a bakery next door related with Torta Chaja makes this 10x better, great food, great service and great baking goods, definitely recommend to anyone.
We were there for family dinner and found out there was a tango show, happy about that. The food was in line with what we expected. A+. Service was outstanding with Clemente leading the crew A+. What was disappointing was the kitchen and bar crew, being so rude while the tango performers were doing their thing. How rude and disrespectful! They laughed and made noise, seemed like on purpose and cared more about their soccer game situation over the patrons and performers during what should’ve been a memorable experience. Lost two stars due to the lack of consideration for the paying customers. Owner: please talk to your crew. Available to talk for more details.

I went past week on a thursday to buy a dozen empanadas and there was 2 young ladies that acted very rude and unprofessional, one of them kept raising her voice to another employee that was in the kitchen,i think her name is Jasmine and that is not the first time that i witnessed her having that kind of behavior ,it happened a couple of weeks ago with another employee,i don't know if she is the manager and i think ,she shouldn't talk to another employee that way .I told the other lady with tatoos that i didn't think that was nice and she answered me in a disrespectful way ,you can see that this young lady has some kind of anger or she doesn't like her job .I guess managment should improve their quality of service instead of keep raising their prices all the time like they are ,during all this years that i 've being coming to this place, this time is the worst ,they shoud improve their service if they want to keep customers coming there.

This placed has taken a steep dive, why I tried again, idk.
Cappuccino was almost cold and way too much milk, The food just doesn’t have that pop anymore, fresh. It’s just not what it used to be. For about the same price, you can go around the corner to such as Café Vida, And have a way more phenomenal breakfast, food experience
The pastry bakery side is very good, although I have not tried any coffee such as a cappuccino to see how they write on that .

Authentic Argentinian food for a great price. I bring all my Argentinian relatives here when they visit and we all love it! Empanadas, sándwiches de miga, alfajores de maicena y de chocolate, facturas, and much more. We’ve only gotten takeout, but have always had fast and pleasant service here. They also have additional empanada options on Tuesdays for the Culver City farmers market.
